Boynton Beach Police Officer struck by car, seriously injured

Below is a statement from Boynton Beach Police Chief Michael G. Gregory regarding the officer who was seriously injured today after he was struck by a car while in a foot pursuit with a shoplifting suspect.
The suspect, Ryan Moody, 24, was arrested and charged with grand theft and resisting an officer without violence. Officers are actively looking for the second suspect, Elyshia Wilson, 23, on the same charges.

Boynton Beach Police are investigating the accidental drowning of a 21-year-old man who fled from officers responding to the report of an in-progress vehicle burglary early Thursday morning.
