Overnight Incidents for December 30, 2009

  • 09-65832 1946 hrs Possession of Contraband 500 SW 23rd Avenue
    W/M Joshua J Frye DOB 11-12-83 and W/M Johan P Junttila DOB 04-19-85 were arrested after they were observed smoking a marijuana “cigarette” by Officer Sohn. Also in their possession were two tablets of Oxycodone which they attempted to eat while being arrested. Both were processed and sent to county jail.

  • 09-65635 2042 hrs Auto Theft (Update) 1076 SW 26th Avenue
    Delray Beach PD advised that the blue ’99 Dodge Caravan bearing FL tag L921BJ stolen on 12-28-09 had been used in two purse snatch robberies in their city today (DBPD case #09-33322 & #09-33325). DBPD had info that the vehicle and/or suspect was in the area of 2208 SE 4th Street. Units from both agencies set up in the area and observed the minivan. The suspect, w/m Gregory B Hertz DOB 07-26-72 was observed entering and exiting the minivan and was subsequently arrested for the GTA by BBPD officers. DBPD advised that the victims’ from one of their cases had positively identified Hertz as the perpetrator. Hertz was also found to be in possession of property from the robberies. DBPD took possession of Hertz charging him with the robberies. The minivan was removed from FCIC/NCIC.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 29, 2009

  • 09-65614 1600 hrs Aggravated Battery (MV) 600 NW 7th Court
    W/F Melissa A Morgan DOB 07-08-89 and W/M Stephen S Schradin DOB 09-10-86 were arrested after they intentionally struck the victim’s bicycle with their SUV causing the victim to fall off his bike. The victim received minor injuries. Schradin then exited the SUV and battered the victim with his fists. Two witnesses called 911 and the pair was arrested in the 900 block of NW 11th Avenue. Both were sent to county jail. The SUV was held for forfeiture.

  • 09-65687 0001 hrs Burglary (residence) 2151 NE 1st Lane
    Officers responded to the residence for a delayed burglary report. It was determined that sometime between 0600 hours and 2359 hours, a window was smashed and an unknown subject gained entry to the residence. Taken were miscellaneous electronics, jewelry and video games valued at approximately $4315.00. Crime Scene negative.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 24, 2009 - December 28, 2009

  • 09-065417 09:54 hrs Possession of Contraband 500 NW 11Th Ave.
    Arrested: B/F Ella Hollis DOB 12-04064.After conducting a traffic stop NCIC/FCIC confirmed that Hollis had a suspended driver license which she had knowledge of. Search incident to arrest 1.0 grams of marijuana was discovered.

  • 09-065430 11:56 hrs Warrant 135 NE 1 Street
    Arrested: B/M Delroy Cole DOB 12-27-09. Cole turned himself in inference to B.B.P.D. case 09-65059 and 09-065210. NCIC / FCIC also confirmed a warrant for FTA out of P.B.S.O. Cole was tot P.B.C.J without incident.

  • 09-065433 12:02 hrs Burglary Auto 206 SW 4th Ave.
    Victim discovered the catalytic converter cut off her 99 Toyota 4 Runner bearing Fl. tag J901WY. Total loss valued at $450.00 dollars.

  • 09-065442 13:18 hrs Possession of Contraband 1456 SW 25th Ave.
    Arrested: Angela Brown DOB 6-2-78. Officers responded to a burglary in progress after investigation was completed it was determined that Brown was a current owner of the foreclosure. Further investigation determined that she was in possession of a controlled substance w/o a prescription. Brown was tot P.B.C.J.

  • 09-065220 04:29 hrs R/A Without Violence 500 W Boynton Beach Blvd.
    Arrested: W/M Victor Rubino DOB 3-8-78. Defendant was behind the wheel and asleep at the I-95 and Boynton Beach Blvd. Intersection. Investigation determined that he had no driver license and was in possession of an open container of beer.

  • 09-065256 11:22 hrs Simple Battery 509 Belmont Place
    Arrested: W/M Jeffrey Bernstein DOB 4-23-60. Defendant pushed victim after a verbal altercation over a bag of garbage that was left in front of his door step. NTA issued.

  • 09-065252 11:08 hrs Warrant 1500 SW 8Th Street
    Arrested: W/M Michael Egan DOB 3-24-58. NCIC/FCIC confirmed that Egan had a warrant for violation of probation out of BSO. Egan was tot PBCJ.

  • 09-65183 1946 hrs Warrant Adult 432 NW 12th Ave
    B/F Deronceler, Ileene (DOB 9/28/89) was arrested in reference to an outstanding arrest warrant. She was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-65186 2011 hrs Accident with injuries (THI) 3000 N. Congress Ave
    A motorcycle travelling south on N. Congress Ave struck a vehicle travelling north. The vehicle made a left turn in the motorcycle’s path. Both driver and passenger of the motorcycle were thrown approximately 140 feet forward. Both riders were wearing helmets. They were taken to Delray Trauma, injuries appeared to be non life threatening. Charges are pending investigation results.

  • 09-65208 0000 hrs Burglary Auto 106 N. Abercorn Circle
    Victim heard a car door open, and upon looking outside, saw 1 unk. b/m standing outside his wife’s 1995 Green Ford bearing Fl tag M260MZ. He then noticed another b/m inside the vehicle. Both subjects fled jumping the fence into the Sand and Sea development, upon seeing the victim. Taken were a radar detector and a prox/swipe card. Vehicle had been left unlocked.

  • 09-65210 0029 hrs Aggravated Assault 128 S. Atlantic Dr. W.
    B/M (victim) Hall, Christopher (DOB 8/9/86) stated He was walking home north on Seacrest Blvd when a blue or purple PT Cruiser (unk tag) pulled up along side him and B/M Delroy Cole (DOB 1/3/90) rolled down the driver side window and pointed a 'chopper' (AK Rifle) at him and stated he should “kill him for snitching” (referring to previous incident 09-65059). Hall fled the area and vehicle was last seen south on N. Seacrest Blvd. A check of all areas was negative.

  • 09-065046 Recovered Stolen Vehicle 108 NE 20 Ave.
    Officers responded to 108 NE 20 Ave. regarding a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle, red 1990 Toyota Camry had been reported stolen earlier this date from the Tri-Rail station located at 2800 High Ridge Road. The vehicle was recovered unoccupied. The vehicle was towed and the owner notified.

  • 09-065059 Aggravated Assault with a Firearm 121 NW 10 Ave. #B
    At 2028 hours, Officers responded to 121 NW 10 Ave. in reference to shots fired. Units meet with victims Christopher Hall who stated he had gone to this address to visit his son and bring him Christmas gifts when he was confronted by suspect B/M Delroy Cole. Cole and Hall began arguing and Cole left the area. Cole then returned with an assault rifle. Hall ran in fear for his life when he heard at least two shots fired. Hall stated that Cole then fled on foot in leaving the area.

  • 09-065061 Warrant Arrest 501 SW 1 Court
    At 2119 hours, Officers were investigating a disturbance involving B/M Karl Gross dob 11/13/1981 over a cell phone when he was found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest out of PBSO for FTA regarding domestic battery and criminal mischief. The warrants were confirmed and Gross was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.

  • 09-065073 Armed Robbery 312 E. Boynton Beach Blvd.
    At 2135 hours, units responded to 312 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. (Accessories and More) regarding an Armed Robbery where three black males dressed in black wearing masks entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money. One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s purse which contained her bible, and $750.00 cash, cell phone and gift cards from the business. All three suspects fled the scene running southeast. The incident was captured on video, but could not be viewed or obtained at this time.

  • 09-065120 Poss. of Cocaine w/Intent to sell 100 W. Gateway Blvd.
    Officer Mulcahy stopped a 1994 Chevy Caprice for multiple traffic violations. The front passenger H/M Leonardo Millan was reaching towards the floorboard of the car at the time of the stop. All occupants were removed from the vehicle at which time a clear sandwich bags was located on the passenger floorboard in plain view that contained six smaller bags of powder cocaine. Millan was arrested for poss. w. intent to sell cocaine and was TOT to the Palm Beach County Jail.

  • 09-065096 DUI Arrest 400 SE 10 Ave.
    Officer Murphy was responding to a reckless driver when he noticed the vehicle traveling at a high speed past him. Murphy was able to catch up to the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop. The driver H/M Romel Velasquez was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Velasquez refused to submit to road side sobriety tasks and was arrested. Velasquez subsequently refused to submit to a breath test. He was processed and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.

  • 09-64934 0517 hrs. 400 NE 10th Ave. Robbery (Strongarm)
    Victim called BBPD at approx. 0515 in ref. to a robbery that occurred in the area of 400 NE 10th Ave. at approx. 0400 hrs. Victim told officers that he was in the area visiting a friend and was leaving towards home in W. Palm Bch. when he heard a strange noise coming from his vehicle and pulled over. Victim pulled over to investigate the noise and stated that three unidentified b/m’s approached him and asked him for money. Victim told the three b/m’s that he did not have any money and got punched in the face. Once on the ground, the other two b/m’s jumped on victim and began punching him as well. Victim advised the three b/m’s took the gold chain he was wearing around his neck and his wallet and fled the area. Victim then, for unknown reasons, drove to Lake Worth and remained there for approx. 45 mins. before returning to Boynton Bch. and deciding to report the incident. Victim did have superficial scrapes on his face and knees but was unable to provide any description of suspects for officers. Victim refused to give officers a statement (written/taped) and stated he just wanted to go home.

  • 09-64938 0759 101 Commerce Rd. Burglary Auto
    Five (5) company vehicles were reportedly forcibly entered sometime between 12-23-09 1830hrs and 12-24-09 0715hrs. by forcing (prying) either the rear door lock or right side cargo door lock. Hand tools, torches, canisters of freon and boxed garbage disposers were taken from the vehicles. Total value of loss est. at approx. approx $10,750.00. Crime scene negative.

  • 09-64068 1930 hrs Police Assist (FEC Police) 400 S FEC
    Officers responded to the area in reference to a report of a pedestrian struck by a southbound train. BBFR located a black male with no vital signs lying to the east of the railroad tracks. FEC Police responded and notified the County Medical Examiner’s Office. The male did not have any forms of identification on his person. The train’s conductor advised it appeared the male was attempting to beat the train across the tracks. FEC is following-up with the investigation.

  • 09-64891 2123 hrs Possession of Contraband 121 NW 10th Avenue
    B/M Billy A Cobb DOB 10-07-84 was found to be in possession of marijuana <20 grams following a loitering investigation. Cobb was processed and released with a NTA. Cobb’s 17 year old friend was arrested for trespass after warning. Officers also located a small amount of crack cocaine on the juvenile.

  • 09-64896 2139 hrs Assault (L.E.O.) 4753 N Congress Avenue
    W/M Ryan F Crofutt DOB 04-12-85 was arrested after he clenched his fists and motioned as if he was about to punch the investigating Officers. Crofutt had been lawfully detained for riding a bike without a headlight. Crofutt made statements that it would take an army to get him in the police car. Crofutt was processed and sent to county jail.

  • 09-64624 1746 hrs Warrant Adult 125 NW 10th Ave
    Cesar, Jean (b/m 3-16-78) was arrested in reference to an outstanding arrest warrant. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-64655 1959 hrs Burglary Cat Type 34 Misty Meadows Dr
    Between 1330 and 1600 hrs victim received a delivery from UPS, which was placed inside his open garage next to his open interior door. Shortly after the delivery he noticed that his wallet and cellular phone were stolen from the counter, adjacent to the open interior door. The victim checked his accounts and found, that within a half hour of the delivery, several charges were made to his accounts. Crime scene was negative. Estimated amount of stolen items is $445. The amount, location, and quantity of charges is as of yet unknown. At this time no contact has been made with UPS in regards to identifying their employee.

  • 09-64666 2104 hrs Burglary Auto 1035 W Gateway Blvd
    Between 2030 and 2100 hrs the victim’s vehicle was broken into by having a window smashed out. Stolen from the vehicle was a lap top computer, two bags, and a day planner, and other miscellaneous items. The total loss is estimated at $5239. Crime scene responded and was able to lift partial latent prints from the vehicle and a hypodermic syringe that was left at the scene. A witness observed a slender black male flee from the area, but could not identify the subject.

  • 09-64667 2113 hrs Poss Drug Paraphernalia 201 NW 9th Ct
    Allen, Rodney (b/m 4-23-64) was arrested for possession of a crack pipe at the above location. He was processed and released with a NTA.

  • 09-64673 2200 hrs Warrant Arrest 1100 W Gateway Blvd
    Sonn, Randy (w/m 1-14-63) was arrested in reference to an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-64675 2203 hrs Poss Cocaine 100 E MLK Blvd
    While conducting an extra patrol at Robert’s units arrested Bryant, Antonio (b/m 1-21-91) who was found to be in possession of .4 grams of crack cocaine. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-64678 2206 hrs Retail Theft 801 N Congress Ave
    Li, Emily (a/f 3-13-91), Liu, Peggy (a/f 11-19-91) and a juvenile female were arrested after they were caught trying to steal merchandise from Macy’s. Liu and the juvenile had stolen misdemeanor amounts and were released from the scene with a NTA and juvenile referral respectively. Li had stolen $321 worth of merchandise and was TOT PBCJ.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 22, 2009

  • 09-64421 1542 hrs Burglary Residence 1610 Stonehaven Dr #7
    Between 1400 and 1535 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s residence by loosening the door knob and accessing the internal locking mechanism. Once inside the residence they stole approximately $1990 worth of electronics and clothing. Crime scene was conducted and two partial prints were obtained.

  • 09-64459 1914 hrs Warrant Arrest 1634 S Federal Hwy
    Meehan, Christopher (w/m 7-11-86) was arrested after it was determined that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-64471 2015 hrs Poss Marijuana less 20gms 1400 S Boynton Beach Blvd
    While investigating a hit and run crash (09-64467) officers went out with Taylor, Robert (w/m 11-7-87) and Haynes, Robert (w/m 1-1-88). They were found to be in possession of marijuana and a “bong”. They were processed on scene and released with NTA’s.

  • 09-64496 2204 hrs Burglary Residence 433 NE 20th Ave
    Between 1700 and 2200 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s residence by removing a window AC unit. Once inside they stole approximately $2000 worth of electronics, jewelry, and Nike shoes. Crime scene was negative.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 19, 2009 - December 21, 2009

  • 09-64258 1608 hrs Shoplifting 1901 N Congress Avenue
    W/F MaryAnn Randazzo DOB 02-14-61 was arrested after she was observed concealing $148.00 worth of merchandise (make-up and fragrances) from Kohl’s. Randazzo was processed and released with a NTA.

  • 09-64270 1721 hrs Burglary (auto) 1901 N Congress Avenue
    Victim stated that between 1500 hrs and 1530 hrs unknown person(s) entered her unlocked red ’09 Ford Explorer while she shopped at Kohl’s. Taken from the SUV were a bowling ball carrier ($200.00), three 16lb bowling balls ($500.00) and a pair of Dexter bowling shoes ($169.00). Also taken were a Magellan GPS ($300.00) and two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses ($450.00). Victim did not discover the items were missing until she returned home.

  • 09-64317 2207 hrs Shoplifting 3200 Old Boynton Road
    A 16 year old male was arrested after he was observed concealing $111.00 worth of merchandise (T-shirts and fishing equipment) from Wal-Mart. The teen was processed and released to his parents.

  • 09-64327 0049 hrs Stolen Auto 1002 Victory circle
    Victim stated that a female friend whom he knows for only a couple of days came by for a visit. Victim stated he noticed that his cars keys were missing. Moments later the friend stated she was going outside to smoke a cigarette. When victim went outside to check on the friend he observed her driving his silver ’02 Ford Taurus bearing FL tag I271LC away. The car was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.

  • 09-64202 0746 hrs. 3432 Quantum Lakes Dr. Theft of motor vehicle parts
    Victim advised that sometime between 2300 hrs. on 12-19-09 and 0745 hrs. on 12-20-09 the two rear rims/tires (valued at approx. $500) were taken from his 2004 Nissan 350Z. No suspect(s). Crime scene negative.

  • 09-64208 0921 hrs. 2301 S. Congress Ave. Burglary Auto
    Sometime between 2300 hrs. on 12-19-09 and 0815 hrs. on 12-20-09, victim found that unk. suspect(s) had smashed his front windshield with a fire extinguisher (taken from the community) and took $100 in US currency from the center console. Crime scene negative.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 18, 2009

  • 09-63765 1640 hrs Burglary Residence 801 NE 3rd St
    Between 0800 and 1615 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s residence through the front door and stole her desktop computer system. Crime scene and witness canvas were negative. Total loss is approximately $600.

  • 09-63760 1709 hrs Warrant Arrest 902 S Seacrest Blvd
    While serving a search warrant at the above address CRA officers arrested Sundstrom, Nancy (w/f 12-29-55) in reference to two outstanding arrest warrants. She was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63761 1714 hrs Theft 133 N Congress Ave
    While shopping at Publix, between 1600 and 1651 hrs, the elderly female victim had her wallet stolen out of her purse. Video shows a light skinned black female reaching into the victim’s purse while it was in the shopping cart unattended. Total loss is estimated at $601.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 17, 2009

  • 09-63581 1707 hrs Theft 3200 Old Boynton Rd
    While shopping at Wal Mart the victim had her wallet stolen from her purse. The victim was not able to provide any suspect information. Due to the time delay and lack of information about the location of the theft loss prevention was not able to locate video of the theft.

  • 09-63591 1732 hrs City Ordinance Violation 207 SW 1st Ave
    Reilly, David (w/m 5-11-91) was arrested for soliciting without a permit after he was found soliciting in the above area after having already been warned by officers. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63599 1811 hrs Traffic Crash- Fatality 200 blk W Boynton Beach Blvd
    Units responded to a reported vehicle versus pedestrian collision. BBFD transported the elderly female pedestrian who was pronounced dead a short time later at Delray’s Trauma center. See press release for further information.

  • 09-63604 1819 hrs Theft 3200 Old Boynton Rd
    Between 1430 and 1530 hrs the victim was shopping at Wal Mart, when suspect(s) unknown stole the wallet from her purse. The victim was not able to provide any suspect information, but did advise that one of her credit cards was used a short time later at Toys R Us. Wal Mart was not able to find any video of the theft due to the uncertainty of when and where the theft occurred within the store.

  • 09-63615 1954 hrs Credit Card Fraud 1602 S Federal Hwy
    Units responded to Josie’s Restaurant in reference to a subject having ordered a delivery of food with a stolen credit card number. Bank of America verified that the transaction was not authorized and that the actual card holder lived in Texas. Units responded to the address the food had been delivered to and arrested Nelson, Matthew (w/m 8-23-89). Nelson admitted obtaining the credit card number from his place of employment, which he refused to identify. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63658 0139 hrs Theft/ Poss Xanax/ Poss Marijuana Int 3200 Old Boynton Rd
    While at Wal Mart units were made aware of two females who were stealing Wal Mart property. As the two exited the store they were taken into custody. Roberts, Tomika (b/f 12-21-79) and Pinkney, Chakeshia (b/f 6-16-88) were arrested for retail theft. Search incident to arrest Pinkney was found in possession of Xanax without a prescription. Roberts was processed and released with a NTA. Pinkney was TOT PBCJ. The vehicle the females had arrived in was occupied by Roland, John (b/m 1-20-68). He stated that the females had left additional property from Wal Mart in the vehicle, but was uncertain if it was stolen. While recovering, this additional stolen property, officers became aware of a marijuana blunt in the center console of the vehicle. While officers were recovering the blunt, Roland stated that he had “about a half ounce under the driver’s seat.” Investigation revealed the presence of 46.5 grams of marijuana. Roland was arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

 

Overnight Incidents for December 12, 2009 - December 16, 2009

  • 09-63167 1815 hrs Burglary Residence Arrests 1845 Banyan Creek Cir. North
    Officer received additional information related to the burglary of the residence the previous night. Two juveniles were arrested. Some property recovered. Detective Bureau responded. Investigation on-going.

  • 09-63250 1824 hrs Recovered Stolen Vehicle Arrest 205 NE 9th Ave.
    B/M, Gerald Taylor, 12/28/65, arrested after investigation revealed he was in possession of a reported stolen vehicle (2005 Toyota Highlander FL tag# N461CU). The vehicle was located in a parking space in front of the residence by a Lojack installed in Ofc. Sohn’s vehicle. WPB PD notified of recovery.

  • 09-63276 1947 hrs Burglary Auto 1425 S. Congress Ave. (Barrington Place)
    Victim’s Ford Expedition was broken into (broken window) between 1910 and 1930 hours while parked at the facility. A purse was taken from the passenger floorboard.

  • 09-63285 2140 hrs Loitering & Prowling 1203 N. Seacrest Blvd. (Poinciana Elementary)
    B/M, Christopher Reed, 10/03/80; B/M, Billy Cobb, 10/07/84; and a 16 YOA Juvenile were arrested after they were observed at the southern perimeter of the school fence. Upon seeing a marked police unit subjects ran from the area. Reed and Cobb were detained after a short foot pursuit. The juvenile was found hiding behind a landscaping trailer at the side of a private residence. None of the subjects could offer a lawful explanation for their presence or reason for flight, but each had a history of burglary. School Police advised there were no alarm activations. The school appeared to be secure.

  • 09-63102 1653 hrs Burglary Auto 801 N Congress Ave
    Between 1500 and 1520 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle by shattering a window. Stolen from the vehicle was a digital camera and her DVD/radio. Total estimated loss is $800.00 Crime scene and witness canvas were negative.

  • 09-63118 1810 hrs Battery on LEO 1601 NE 1st Ct
    Christmas, Merry (b/f 12-28-64) was arrested for obstructing officers’ investigation into a disturbance. While they were taking Christmas into custody, Johnson, Dexter (b/m 3-27-73) shoved Ofc Lyndsey away from her in an attempt to prevent the arrest. Johnson was taken to the ground and after a brief struggle taken into custody for the Battery on LEO. Christmas was released with a NTA. Johnson was TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63140 2012 hrs Burglary Auto 123 Lake Monterey Cir
    Between 1400 hrs on 12-12-09 and 1500 hrs on 12-13-09 suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle and removed DVDs, coins, and a pair of sunglasses. The total loss is estimated at $350. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim believes that the suspect may have used a universal remote to gain entry. Crime was negative.

  • 09-63153 2135 hrs Poss Marijuana under 20 gms 500 N Congress Ave
    Subsequent to a traffic stop, Noble, Danarius (b/m 4-6-81) was arrested for knowingly operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Search incident to arrest revealed the presence of a bag of marijuana weighing 1 gm. Noble was processed and released with a NTA.

  • 09-63167 0002 hrs Burglary Residence 1845 Banyan Creek Cir N
    Between 12-5-09 and 12-14-09 suspect(s) unknown broke into the victim’s residence and stole virtually all of his possessions. This included numerous pieces of electronics as well as all of the victim’s high end clothing. The total loss is estimated at approximately $20700.00. Crime scene responded and located several possible latent prints.

  • 09-63170 0103 hrs Warrant Arrest 4101 Mahogany Bay Dr
    Verdell, Denise (b/f 9-6-91) was arrested after it was learned that there were two outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63177 0223 hrs Disorderly Intox, R/A w/out Violence 511 NE 4th St

    While officers were at the Tiki Tavern they became aware of an outstanding arrest warrant for Hughes, Timothy (w/m 9-12-55). He was taken into custody, processed, and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-63034 0554 hrs. Burglary/ Battery 1205 Mahogany Bay Dr.
    Officers responded to 1205 Mahogany Bay Drive in ref. to a burglary/battery/false imprisonment. Upon arrival officers met with Vict. Brandon Filosa who advised that a neighbor known to him as James Killings 03/29/87 knocked on his front door and approached him about possibly burglarizing his and his girlfriend Heather Barnett’s 01/13/87 residence at 1305 Mahogany Bay Dr. Killings punched Filosa in the face while several of his friends later identified as LeCorry Walker 10/18/81, Alvin Martin 07/27/81 pushed Filosa out of the residence and continued to battery him and hold him at this location while Barnett searched Filosa’s residence for possible stolen property. After no property was located, the assailants vacated Filosa’s residence. The aforementioned suspects were located throughout the residence and crawl space in the attic and were transported to BBPD and further charged with the aforementioned charges and tot PBCJ.

  • 09-63044 0811 hrs. Stolen/ Recovered Vehicle 1500 Stonehaven Drive
    Officers responded to 1500 Stonehaven Drive in ref. to a possible stolen beige 1995 Nissan Maxima bearing FL tag N37-9UK which according to Vict. was parked in the parking lot at the above location.
    Owner/ Vict. Advised that he parked the vehicle in the parking lot at approx. 0500 hrs. this date and when he exited his res. to check on his vehicle he found same to be missing. Vict. advised that he did not lend out or give any person(s) permission to take same. As officers were taking this report, victim’s aforementioned vehicle was located in Delray Beach and was supposedly involved in an accident. Investigation into this incident continues.

  • 09-62618 1949 hrs Possession of Contraband 1000 SW 8th Street
    The Cove detail officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for multiple traffic violations. The driver, Daniel Ilomaki (05/02/85), admitted to possessing pills in the vehicle. Located in the vehicle in plain view was paraphernalia for smoking pills and one “Roxy.” Ilomaki was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail. The vehicle is being held pending possible forfeiture.

  • 09-62603 1820 hrs Warrant Arrest 1475 SW 8th Street
    Officer was investigating a vandalism at the Cracker Barrel when he determined that one of the suspects, Gena Cineas (05/24/88), had a Failure to Appear Warrant. Cineas was arrested and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.

    Between 0830 hours and 1930 hours on 12/09/09, unknown subject broke the rear bedroom sliding glass door and entered the residence. A Sony Digital Camera was taken from a bedroom. The total loss was $500.

  • 09-62429 1959 hrs Possession of Marijuana 109 E. Boynton Beach Blvd
    Officer initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation. A search of the vehicle was conducted based upon the odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. The driver, Diego Taylor (01/02/91), was subsequently arrested for Possession of Marijuana under 20 Grams when 4.6 grams of Marijuana was recovered from the driver seat. He was released with a Notice to Appear.

    Between 1930 hours and 2130 hours on 12/09/09, unknown subject smashed a bedroom window and gained access to the residence. The bedroom was ransacked and miscellaneous jewelry and jewelry box valued at approximately $610.00 was taken.

  • 09-62104 2204 hrs Poss Scheduled Drug 100 W MLK Blvd
    Officers attempted to stop Lewis, Willie (b/m 3-18-85) due to his trespassing on the property at 113 W MLK Blvd. As officers attempted to stop Lewis, he took flight. After a short foot pursuit Lewis was arrested for resisting arrest w/out violence (by flight). Search incident to arrest revealed the presence of several Xanax bars. Lewis was additionally charged with possessing a scheduled drug without a prescription. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-62105 2208 hrs Strong Arm Robbery 1634 S Federal Hwy
    Units responded to the Walgreens in reference to a reported strong arm robbery. Investigation revealed that a b/m 6’, 200 lbs (NFI), had stolen personal hygiene items. When the store manager attempted to stop the suspect, he shoved the manager out of the way and fled on foot to the south west. Total loss is estimated at less than $10.

    W/F Kaitlin Seldon DOB 01-31-85 was arrested after she stole an $80.00 leather jacket from Sears at the Mall. A search incident to arrest revealed that Seldon had a 1” x 1” plastic bag of methamphetamines. Seldon was processed and sent to county jail.

    W/M Francisco Diego DOB 08-30-83 was found to have an outstanding FTA warrant from PBSO. Diego was sent to county jail after the warrant was confirmed.

  • 09-61931 0125 hrs Battery on L.E.O. 315 NW 3rd Street
    B/M Melvin Brown DOB 08-31-63 was arrested after he took a boxing stance and threatened to fight officers who were there to investigate a verbal dispute. As officers were taking Brown into custody, he kicked one officer in the shin (uninjured). Brown was processed and sent to county jail.

  • 09-61939 0256 hrs Vehicle Fire 515 NE 2nd Street
    Officer arrived to find a blue ’01 Chevy Impala fully engulfed in flames on the driveway. BBFD quickly extinguished the fire. The Fire Marshall was requested to investigate the fire’s cause. The owner and her family were temporarily evacuated from their residence.

  • 09-61787 1001 hours 2951 SW 14th Place. Mega Mini Storage Burglary Trailer
    Sometime between 12/04/09 1700 and 12/06/09 0600 unknown suspects broke into the side door of a lawn maintenance trailer removing several pieces of lawn equipment. Total loss is approx. $1200.00. Crime scene was negative. Video cameras are present but do not work.

  • 09-61721 1959 Arson 301 W. Boynton Beach Blvd., (Galaxy Park)
    Units responded to a fire at the park restroom facilities. On arrival, officers discerned that there was no structural fire, but someone had lit a tissue paper roll on fire and left it on the floor of a bathroom stall. The ensuing smoke caused extensive smoke damage within the restroom, coating everything in black soot. BBFR and the Fire Marshal responded. No suspect information.

  • 09-61764 0116 Aggravated Battery with Knife 2 Fenwick PL.
    W/M, Mark Scammell, 3/10/79, arrested after investigation revealed he assaulted a roommate with a knife after a verbal argument. The victim wrestled the knife away from Scammell and sustained a small laceration on his hand for his efforts. Scammell sustained a laceration on his head from striking it on a table during the confrontation. Scammell was TOT PBCJ after medical clearance.

  • 09-61620 0658 hrs 100 New Lake Dr Burglary Auto (attempt)
    A green Dodge mini-van with an open rear door was located by Ofc’s on extra patrol within the Cove. Contact was made with the owner who advised that the vehicle was definitely secured when parked last night. Victim was unable to advise what if anything was missing from within and no sign of forced entry was observed.

    W/M Hugo Lopez- 9/6/74 was found in the area harassing residents. He advised Officers that he had been on an all night crack cocaine binge, but had several incongruent stories as to why he was there. Failing to dispel the Officer’s fear that he had or was about to commit a crime, he was arrested for L&P. Search incident to arrest revealed that Lopez was in possession of over $800.00 in cash. He was TOT the PBCJ as he could not provide ID or a local address.

  • 09-61624 0739 hrs 1750 Stonehaven Dr #4 Stolen Auto
    Victim’s 1995 green Honda Accord (FL-N330UG) was stolen from the parking lot between the hours of 2100 and 0700. The victim has the only known keys and the vehicle was not on the tow log. N/FCIC entry completed.

  • 09-61666 1327 hrs Congress/ Gateway Agg. Assault Firearm/ Improper Exhibition
    W/M Douglas Kayman- 11/5/57 was arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm (.357 revolver) and improper exhibition of a firearm after he threatened and pointed the gun at the victim during a road-rage incident. After a felony stop of his vehicle, the victim positively identified Kayman and the firearm. He was subsequently TOT the PBCJ and his Dodge Stratus was held for forfeiture.

  • 09-61556 1641 hrs Burglary (auto) 404 New Lake Drive
    Victim stated that between 0800 hrs and 1600 hrs unknown person(s) entered his red ’07 Ford Mustang by cutting an 18” x 18” hole in the convertible top. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the glove box and a briefcase, but the victim advised that nothing appeared to be missing.

  • 09-61572 1841 hrs Burglary (residence) 3455 Orange Street
    Victim stated that between 0500 hrs on 12-01-09 and 1730 hrs this date unknown person(s) entered her residence by smashing a bathroom window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole $900.00 cash, six (6) gold rings ($400.00), a 16” gold chain w/pendant and a 24” gold chain w/pendant ($2700.00).

  • 09-61577 2016 hrs Armed Robbery (knife) 700 W Boynton Beach Blvd
    Victim stated she was dining at the Damix Caribbean Restaurant when she went out back to make a phone call. Victim stated she was approached by a light-skinned black male in his 20’s with “twisted” hair. The male was holding what appeared to be a knife in a towel when he demanded her cell phone and jewelry. Victim gave the male her pink Metro PCS cell phone ($100.00), a Citizen watch ($100.00), and a silver pinky ring ($100.00). A K-9 track was negative.

  • 09-61578 2050 hrs Shooting (domestic) 117 NW 10th Avenue
    19 year old victim was shot in the right leg by his 65 year old uncle after he intervened in an altercation between his uncle and his 15 year old brother. Suspect fled the area but was located in his vehicle with the handgun. He was taken to the station where he gave a full confession to detectives. Victim was taken to Bethesda Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Suspect was sent to county jail. The names of the involved parties will be released at a later date.

    Alexander, Maxine (b/f 9-7-63) was arrested after she attempted to cash a stolen check, in amount of $756, at the Bank of America. She was arrested and charged with Uttering the Forged Instrument and Att Grand Theft. She was processed and TOT PBCJ.

    Between 0720 and 1800 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s residence by breaking a window out of the back door. Stolen from the residence were multiple electronics items having a total value of $1590. Crime scene responded and was able to lift latent prints.

    Williams, Andrew (w/m 12-30-86) and Roberts, Marjorie (w/f 4-19-84) were arrested for having stolen an elderly female’s purse on 12-2 at the Publix, 133 N Congress Ave. Search incident to arrest Roberts was found to be in possession of two syringes that she advised she uses to inject Roxycodone. She was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (09-61393). They were processed and released with NTA’s.

    Collins, David (b/m 3-18-60) was arrested after it was learned that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was TOT PBCJ.

    During a crash investigation, Santiago, Jose (w/m 9-3-76) was found to be in possession of less than 20 gms of marijuana. He was processed and released with a NTA.

  • 09-61170 1638 hrs Burglary Residence 130 Leisureville Blvd
    Victim was sitting on her front porch when a red, newer model, pick up truck pulled up to her residence. A Hispanic female exited the passenger side and engaged her in conversation as if she was familiar with victim. The Hispanic male driver, described as being in his 30’s approximately 5’10”, then obtained permission to enter the residence to use the bathroom. When he exited, he and the female left and were last seen east bound on Boynton Beach Blvd. The victim then inspected her residence and noticed $500 cash and multiple pieces of jewelry missing. Total loss is $700. Crime scene was negative.

    Victim reported that unknown persons entered her residence by prying open a garage entry door between 11/28 and 12/01, removing several pieces of jewelry and $350.00 in cash. Total loss is $5350.00.

  • 09-61045 2327 Strong Arm Robbery 400 SW 3rd St.
    Juvenile victim (16 YOA) was walking in his neighborhood when he was approached by a tall thin black male (short afro, black shirt, blue shorts). The male pointed his hand at the victim, which appeared to contain an unknown item, and demanded all of his possessions. Victim turned over a gold necklace, a Motorola cell phone, and $500.00 cash tucked in his waistband. The male then ran to a small dark colored vehicle and fled the area eastbound.

    Victim stated that between 1545 hrs and 1700 hrs unknown person(s) entered his white ’01 Ford Explorer by smashing out the passenger window. The SUV had been parked in the lot of Prime Catch where victim was employed. Victim stated that nothing appeared to be missing although the suspect(s) rummaged through the contents of his glove box.

    Victim stated that between 1200 hrs and 1645 hrs unknown person(s) entered his residence by climbing in a bedroom window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole an Apple Mac laptop ($1400.00), a Sony digital camera ($250.00), a Sony PS2 game system ($150.00), a HP laptop ($533.25), and a Samsung 19” LCD TV ($500.00).

    Arrested W/M Douglas O’Dell DOB 7-10-66. Douglas concealed a single bottle of Corona beer, passing all point of purchase. Douglas was charged with one count of retail theft.

    Between 1845 and 1915 hrs victim left her garage door partially open while she went jogging. When she returned home she noticed that suspect(s) unknown had broken into her residence and stolen $9700 worth of jewelry and electronics. Crime scene was negative and it appeared that some surfaces had been wiped down.

    Between 2055 and 2100 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle, which had been left unsecured in the driveway. Stolen was a woman’s purse, DVD player, and misc movies. Including the contents of the purse the total loss is estimated at $3192. Crime scene was negative and officers were unable to locate any witnesses to the incident.

    Units responded in reference to someone having entered the vacant residence by removing a window. The owner of the property stated that there was no damage and that nothing had been stolen. He further stated that he believes homeless subjects may have been trying to escape the cold weather and broken into the residence.

    Between 1600 and 2000 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle by shattering a back window. Stolen was her purse which had by lying on the back seat. Total loss is $128. Crime scene was negative.

  • 09-60352 0054 hrs Armed Home Invasion 106 NE 4th Ave
    Units responded to a suspicious incident. Investigation revealed that two black males knocked on the door of this residence. When the victims opened the door the suspects forced their way in wielding handguns. Two of the victims were pistol whipped, while the suspects demanded the Latin victims give them “dinero”. The suspects stole one folder containing documents and fled in an unknown direction. Victims refused medical attention. D-bureau notified. Crime scene was negative.

  • 09-60355 0207 hrs R/A w/out Violence 205 SW 10th Ave
    Units were responding to the above area in reference to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival OIC Adams and Ofc Lagor observed Merzier, Fedner (b/m 5-11-90) walking away placing both hands into his waistband. Believing that he may be concealing a weapon they attempted to detain him. Merzier fled on foot. After a short chase, and Merzier removing his outer shirts, he was taken into custody.     Victim reported his Honda Van was broken into by an unknown person between 1545 and 1740 hours by breaking a passenger window and rifling through the contents. Video surveillance revealed a B/M arrived in a black Cadillac and committed the crime. No further information.

  • 09-60040 2333 hrs Armed Robbery 3200 Old Boynton Rd. (Walmart)
    Officer flagged down by victim whom indicated an armed robbery (knife) of her purse. Victim pointed to the suspect leaving in a dark purple / maroon Honda Accord. Officer Finney followed after the vehicle and alerted other officers to the incident. The suspect vehicle refused to stop after lights and sirens were activated. Units pursued the vehicle until it crashed in the parking lot of Burger King (1521 W. Boynton Beach Blvd.), striking the yellow concrete/metal barricade poles. Suspect exited vehicle and attempted to flee, however; was apprehended by K-9. The suspect, later identified as Steven Pomponio (02/08/60), sustained minor injuries from vehicle accident and K-9 apprehension. Pomponio was charged with Armed Robbery, Fleeing and Eluding and Suspended Driver’s License and subsequently sent to the Palm Beach County Jail.

    At 1545 hrs victim was inside her residence when she heard a window shatter. She immediately responded to the area and found the window broken and the curtain pulled outside of the residence. It appears that the burglar did not realize she was home and fled upon hearing her respond to the sound of the broken glass. Crime scene was negative and a search of the area was unable to locate the suspect(s).

    Between 1100 and 1917 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s residence and stole a 25” Toshiba television $250 value. Entry was made by shattering a sliding glass door. Crime scene was able to lift one latent print from a mirror adjacent to the point of entry. Total loss is estimated at $650.

  • 09-59853 0134 hrs Burglary Attempt 2407 NE 4th St
    Units responded in reference to a burglary to a shed in progress. Upon arrival a perimeter was set up and K9 attempted a track, which met with negative results. Investigation revealed that the home owner had turned on all of the residence’s lights and scared the suspect away prior to his being able to steal any property from the shed. Crime scene was negative and no suspect information was available.

    Officers responded in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of an abandoned residence. Upon arrival, officers located Joshua Smith (08/08/89) standing in the driveway smoking marijuana. Smith was arrested for Possession of Marijuana. An inventory search of the vehicle revealed 2 alprazolam pills and additional marijuana in the center console of the vehicle. Smith was sent to the Palm Beach County Jail and the vehicle held pending possible forfeiture.

  • 09-59436 0107 hours Business Burglary 3900 Hypoluxo Road
    Officers responded to Motor City Carwash in reference to an audible alarm. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a window had been smashed out with a landscaping rock. A check of the business revealed that $400.00 had been stolen from underneath the counter. Video surveillance of the business currently being reviewed. Crime Scene responded for processing. Investigation on-going.

    Several calls of a subject falling from a window were received. Upon arrival, a 6 YOA girl was found lying on the sidewalk in an apparent fall from her second floor window. Initial reports indicated she accidentally fell when she pushed against the window screen, however; one resident thought she saw a struggle with an adult male prior to the fall. Dbureau notified and responded. Investigation revealed that the incident was accidental. The child sustained a broken femur, dislocated shoulder, and a laceration to her chin.

    W/M, Christopher Jenkins, 08/11/82, arrested after he stealthily entered an attached fenced in storage area of BMT Discount Beverage by climbing over the wall. He appeared to be standing on two milk crates in an attempt to climb onto the roof of the business to possibly enter the business through the roof, however; was interrupted by police.

    B/M, Deroy D. Daws, 11/01/80, arrested after he stabbed the victim with a 12” kitchen knife in his left upper torso after an argument. Victim driven to Bethesda Memorial Hospital by friend, then transported to Delray Community Hospital for surgery. No status on current condition of victim. SDO notified. Dbureau responded.     Moise, Gertsey (b/m 5-17-90) was arrested after loss prevention observed him conceal merchandise in his pants. Prior to loss prevention attempting to stop Moise, he was able to discard the merchandise. When stopped by loss prevention Moise resisted and struck the loss prevention officer. Moise was charged with the retail theft, resisting merchant, and battery. He was processed and released with a NTA.

  • 09-58770 1901 hrs Possession w/ Intent, Assault LEO 201 NW 9th Ct
    Officers were conducting an extra patrol in Sara Simms park when they observed Taylor, Michael (b/m 4-6-92 adjudicated adult) attempting to toss marijuana as he walked away from officers. Taylor was arrested, the 9 bags of marijuana he tossed recovered, and escorted to a police vehicle. While Taylor was being escorted to a patrol vehicle a large crowd turned hostile towards officers. Kelley, Joshua (b/m 4-6-91) threatened to “beat your asses you white motherfuckers” and advanced on officers in an aggressive manner. As officers attempted to arrest Kelley he took flight. After a brief foot pursuit Kelley slipped and was taken to the ground, where Kelley continued to resist officers. Kelley was arrested and charged with Assault on LEO (x2), and R/A w/out Violence. While officers were still struggling to handcuff Kelley, McCray, Barkavius (b/m 3-25-90) approached officers from behind yelling obscenities. McCray continued to advance on officers despite several orders to back away. As officers turned their attention to McCray, he attempted to punch Ofc Haugh. During the ensuing fight Ofc Haugh broke his hand. McCray was arrested and charged with R/A w/ Violence, and R/A w/out Violence. Allen, James (b/m 3-10-60) was arrested for Inciting a Riot when he continued to encourage the crowd to close on officers and disobey lawful orders to disperse. Carpenter, Calvin (b/m 12-8-69) was arrested for R/A w/out Violence when his actions caused officers to focus their attention on him instead of the subjects they already had in custody. All subjects were TOT PBCJ.

    Between 2025 and 2030 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle by unknown means and stole his vehicle registration. Crime scene was negative.

    Units responded in reference to a report of armed subjects inside the victim’s residence. Upon arrival the victim advised that the suspects had just fled out his back door. Reinhart, Karl (w/m 7-29-88) and Radka, Jeffrey (w/m 9-6-87) were detained in the 500 blk of S Seacrest Blvd. Reinhart had a Mossberg 12ga shotgun concealed in his pants. Radka had a .38 cal S&W revolver in the waistband of his shorts. Detained at the scene was Reinhart, Karen (w/f 1-17-62). Investigation revealed that Karen claims to have been ripped off in a drug deal with the victim. She, Karl, and Jeffrey devised a plan to get Karen’s money back by intimidating the victim with the recovered weapons. All three were arrested and TOT PBCJ.

    Victim reported that unknown persons attempted to enter the residence via the front door between 0800hrs and 1700hrs. There were pry marks at the front door which are consistent with the burglaries at Islington Place.

  • 09-58527 1802 hrs Burglary 36 Heather Cove Dr.
    Victim reported unknown persons entered the residence between 0740hrs and 1745hrs via an unsecured bedroom window. Several electronic items and a watch were removed total loss $2750.00. Crime Scene negative.

  • 09-58593 0049 hrs Burglary 716 NE 3rd Street
    Officer observed a suspicious vehicle attempting to leave the fenced parking lot of Real Masters Property Preservation. As the officer approached to investigate, he observed a male, later identified as Marcus Wilson (01/27/84), jump the fence and run towards the railroad tracks. The officer also observed that the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Alvin Ceaser (06/16/84), had bailed out and run in an unknown direction. Inside the vehicle, officers located two weed eaters, one edger, a leaf blower and a hedge trimmer. A check of the area revealed that a landscape trailer had been burglarized with the padlock having been cut off. Officers located Wilson hiding along the railroad tracks and Cesar was located hiding under a trailer on the property. The property owner responded and confirmed that the items had been stolen from his landscape trailer. The total value of recovered items was $2125.00. Crime Scene and Detective Bureau responded. Both Cesar and Wilson were charged with Burglary, Grand Theft, Possession of Burglary Tools and Resisting Arrest w/o Violence and subsequently sent to the Palm Beach County Jail.

    Victim stated that between 1300 hrs and 1630 hrs unknown person(s) entered his gray ’08 Ford F-250 pick-up by “punching” the driver’s side door lock. The vehicle was parked at Florida Eye Microsurgical. Taken from the truck were miscellaneous tools ($500.00), a metal detector ($500.00), and a black bag ($35.00) containing $150.00 in cash.

    Victim stated that he recently arrived from NJ to be married this Friday. At 1645 hrs he borrowed his friend’s blue ’05 Infiniti FX35 to shop at the Mall. When he returned to the car at 1745 hrs unknown person(s) had smashed the left rear window. Taken from the SUV was his leather briefcase ($175.00) which contained a diamond wedding band ($6500.00), a set of diamond earrings ($4000.00), an Apple 8G Ipod ($150.00), and a Cannon digital camera ($200.00). The unknown suspect(s) also rummaged through his luggage which was on the back seat and took some clothing.

    B/M Raynard B Barber DOB 10/10/90 advised officer he had a warrant. A computer check revealed Barber had two outstanding FTA warrants for driving with no D/L. Barber was processed and sent to county jail.

    B/M Ouly Saintfort DOB 01-27-88 was found to be in possession of 16.8 grams of marijuana following his arrest for driving w/o a license. His passenger b/f Queshia Joseph DOB 10-25-86 was found to be in possession of 26.2 grams of marijuana in plain view in her purse. The marijuana was packaged in 1”x1” plastic bags.

    A Landscaping trailer had a lock cut off the doors by using a heavy duty bolt cutter. The trailer was parked on the side of victims’ residence. $4,125 worth of lawn maintenance equipment was taken.

    Jeffery Estinfort, 22 yoa threatened his neighbor with a large kitchen knife. The incident started with the two exchanging glances and courtesies such as “What are you lookin at”. Naturally, Estinfort said he would go get a knife to continue the discussion. He did so, and returned in a threatening manner.

    W/M Jason B DeLeon DOB 03-01-81 was arrested after investigation revealed he stole an Apple Mac laptop ($1500.00) from the victim’s unlocked black ’06 Honda CRV which was parked at the pool in Willowbrook. Investigation also revealed that DeLeon had taken a 10” Laser Compound Miter saw ($200.00) from another victim’s open garage at 60 Cedar Lane. See case #09-56607. DeLeon was sent to county jail.

    Officers investigating a traffic crash found Alonzo M. Shivers (8-15-83) in the area of the crash, intoxicated. Shivers was taken into custody for disorderly intoxication due to his creating a disturbance, disrupting the peace.

    Between 2130 and 0800 victim’s 2000 Nissan Pathfinder was forcibly entered by smashing the window to gain entry. A stock in-dash stereo was taken.

    Victim stated that between 1630 hrs on 11-05-09 and 1600 hrs this date unknown person(s) stole his blue ’92 Dodge Caravan bearing FL tag J666WXfrom the driveway of his residence. The vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.

  • 09-56472 2117 hrs Battery on LEO 204 SW 1st Street
    Members of the Special Victims Unit (SVU) along with road patrol officers responded in reference to a probable cause pick-up of a suspect involved in a child sexual battery. Officers observed a male matching the suspect’s description in the front yard. When officers attempted to detain him, the male ran into the doorway and tried to lock out the officers. In hot pursuit the officers followed the suspect into the residence where he began to fight. Several other residents from the apartment also began to fight with officers. W/M Cristobol Mateo DOB 12-18-90, W/M Tomas Sebastian-Lorenzo DOB 02-24-82, and W/M Julio Mateo DOB 10-13-78 were charged with battery on LEO. Six (6) other residents of the apartment were charged with resisting without violence. The three were set to county jail and the others released with NTA’s. The officers received minor superficial scratches.

    W/M Jose Pellerey DOB 08-21-72 was found to have an outstanding VOP warrant from St. Lucie County. Pellerey was processed and sent to county jail after the warrant was confirmed.

  • 09-56276 2105 hrs Armed Robbery 239 NE 13th Ave
    Victim reported that he was in the front yard of the above residence when he was approached by two black males. The first produced a silver revolver and pointed it at the victim’s head while the second began searching the victim’s pockets. The victim fought back and stated that the two black males beat him with their fists. The suspects were able to steal the victim’s cellular phone and $3 in US currency. The victim waited over 40 minutes to report this incident due to wishing to confer with family prior to contacting police.

  • 09-56278 2130 hrs Agg Assault Knife, CCW 511 NE 4th St
    Officers responded to the Tiki Tavern in reference to a reported assault with a knife. The victims decided to sign a refusal to prosecute, however Johnson, Dean (w/m 4-30-66) was still arrested in reference to carrying a concealed knife, and disorderly intoxication. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-56288 2251 hrs Warrant Arrest/Giving False Name 2010 N Federal Hwy
    Albert, Molet (b/m 10-18-88) was arrested after it was learned there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was TOT PBCJ. After arriving at PBCJ his fingerprints revealed that he was in fact Molet’s twin brother Milet. He was subsequently charged with giving a false name and TOT PBCJ.

    Marcus, Kevin (w/m 3-25-89) was arrested after it was learned there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was TOT PBCJ.

    Between 0800 and 1500 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle by smashing a back window. The suspect then removed the victim’s purse, which had been lying in plain view on the back floorboard. Total loss is estimated at $212. Crime scene was negative.

    Victim stated that between 2030 hrs on 11-02-09 and 1730 hrs this date unknown person(s) entered her green ’00 Mazda B2500 by “punching” the passenger door lock. Taken from the vehicle were five (5) music CD’s ($50.00).

  • 09-55780 1850 hrs Possession of Contraband 200 NE 10th Avenue
    B/M Gregory L Brown DOB 02-20-77 was found to be in possession of marijuana <20 grams as well as an Ecstasy tablet following a traffic stop. His gray Olds sedan was held forfeiture. Brown was sent to county jail.

  • 09-55798 2036 hrs Aggravated Battery/Assault 13 Southport Lane
    W/M George G Arvay DOB 08-17-37 was arrested after he struck his roommate in the thigh several times with a crowbar following an argument. The roommate had invited two friends over and Arvay demanded that the friends leave. Arvay went after the couple with the crowbar; the roommate intervened and was struck in the thigh area. The roommate sustained several large bruises but refused any further medical attention other than provided by Fire Rescue. Arvay was sent to county jail charged with aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated assault.

  • 09-55592 1718 hrs Burglary (auto) 850 W Gateway Blvd
    Victim stated that she left her Coach purse ($300.00) on the passenger seat of her silver ’06 Honda Accord while she went inside Mobil to prepay for gas. Upon her return to the pump her window was smashed and her purse taken. A witness provided a description and tag of the suspect vehicle which came back to a rented grey Infiniti G35 out of Miami. The Infiniti was occupied by four black males. Inside the purse were a Louis Vuitton wallet ($300.00), LV cigarette case ($200.00), LV eyeglass case ($200.00), LV make-up case ($100.00), $180 cash, and her Fendi reading glasses ($400.00).

  • 09-55617 1921 hrs Warrant Arrest 115 SW 1st Avenue
    Dispatch broadcast a BOLO from PBSO in reference to a hit & run vehicle whose tag was registered to the above address. The BOLO advised that the registered owner w/m Ronald Strout DOB 05-16-66 had an outstanding VOP warrant from the US Marshall Service. The warrant indicated that Strout was suicidal and had been sending suicidal messages to family members. Officers located the car and attempted to make contact with Strout who came to the door but refused to answer or acknowledge the officers’ presence. Strout walked away from the door and into a bedroom where officers on scene heard a possible gunshot. Officers stood down and SWAT was called out. The SWAT team deployed gas and made entry. Strout was taken into custody and subsequently sent to county jail.

  • 09-55623 2211 hrs Traffic Crash (serious injury) 2300 N Congress Avenue
    Officers responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, the motorcyclist was unconscious with serious head injuries. Witnesses advised that the other vehicle was a dark colored SUV which stopped briefly and then left southbound on Congress Avenue. Officers located the SUV in the 900 block of N Congress. The motorcyclist was taken to Delray trauma Center. The driver of the SUV and passengers were interviewed. Charges are pending.

    As a result of a traffic stop, Johnson, Shavis (b/m 1-6-88) was arrested and charged with possession of .4 gms of crack cocaine, 24.4 gms of marijuana, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-55343 0618 hours Theft/Firearm 220 SW 6th Street
    The victim reported that he hosted a Halloween party at his residence last evening, and that sometime between 0300 and 0600 hours this date unknown suspect removed a 45 caliber MAC 10 from his bedroom.

  • 09-55208 1624 hrs File False Police Report 2240 N Federal Hwy
    Bates, Ricky (w/m 3-11-58) was arrested for filing a false report after investigation revealed that he fabricated a story about a suspect masturbating in front of the children on the Intra-Coastal Park playground. The alleged suspect was temporarily detained until numerous parents in the area were able to positively state that Bates allegations were fictitious. Bates was TOT PBCJ.

    Between 1600 and 1655 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s F150 truck by punching the door lock. Stolen was the stereo and an amplifier. Ofc Rini was able to lift one latent print from each of the vehicle’s doors. Total loss $1100.

    Between 1830 and 2000 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s F250 truck by punching the door lock. Stolen was miscellaneous paper work and approximately $20 worth of coins. Crime scene was negative. Total loss $162.

    StJuste, Ronald (b/m 1-11-88) advised he was walking w/b along Gateway when he heard shots being fired at him from a west bound vehicle (NFI). StJuste advised that he fled and ultimately got a ride to Bethesda. StJuste could not provide any suspect information and had only a minor grazing type injury to the head. StJuste decided that he did not wish to cooperate any longer and signed a refusal to prosecute.

    Between 0730 and 1712 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s home. Entry appears to have been made through a sliding glass door. Miscellaneous electronics and jewelry were stolen, with the total loss estimated at $1900. Crime scene was negative.

    Unknown person attempted to enter victim’s Chevrolet Silverado between 1400 and 1620 hours, by “punching” the door lock. Nothing was missing at this time.

  • 09-54802 1935 hrs Burglary Residence (Cat Type) 540 NE 20th Ave.
    Victim reported that someone entered his residence, while he was asleep, between 0200 and 0600 hours. An 18” LCD television was removed.

  • 09-54847 0404 hrs Burglary Business 1660 S. Congress Ave. (Sprint/Nextel)
    Units responded to the business in reference to an alarm, discovering the rear door of the business pried open. The door led to a storage room that had another door leading to the interior of the business. The second door was not compromised and could not be entered at this time. The storage room appeared to have been burglarized as indicated by a storage cabinet found with its doors open. It is unknown what was taken. There was nothing of value left behind. The perimeter door could not be secured. No representative could be located. Crime scene responded and collected to latex gloves left behind.

  • 09-54602 1621 hrs Possession Heroin 1005 W. Gateway Blvd. (Publix)
    W/F, Lauren Gagliardi, 01/02/88, arrested after investigation revealed she had been found in the store bathroom slapping her hand against the stall and slapping her self in the face, while asking an employee if she had any knowledge of drugs because she had taken a shot of Heroin. In plain view, a plastic baggie with Heroin was located next to the defendant’s purse. TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-54606 1634 hrs Burglary Residence 301 NE 26th Ave.
    Victim reported an unknown person entered her residence through an unlocked kitchen window between 0630 and 1634 hours and removed a computer and miscellaneous jewelry valued at a total loss of $995.00.

  • 09-54621 1704 hrs Burglary Auto (Attempt) 3520 Old Boynton Rd.
    Victim reported that an unknown person “punched” the door locks of her Ford F-150 in an attempt to get into the vehicle between 1615 and 1700 hours. Nothing was taken.

  • 09-54627 1852 hrs Burglary Auto 2800 S. Seacrest Blvd.
    Victim reported that an unknown person broke the passenger door window of her Ford Expedition between 1800 and 1852 hrs, removing her purse she had left on the front seat. Total loss is $354.00.

    Victim reported that an unknown person entered her vehicle while she was pumping gas and removed her purse which was on the front seat. No further suspect information available. Video surveillance possibly exists, however; it was unavailable for viewing or retrieval at this time.

  • 09-54470 2236 hrs Poss Schedule III & Paraphernalia 900 Via Lugano
    Baker, Stephani (w/f 2-19-90) was arrested for the above charges and Fahey, Alexander (w/m 11-2-86) was arrested arrested for possession of paraphernalia after they were caught having just smoked prescription pills in the above area. Baker was still in possession of an additional pill. Fahey was released with a NTA. Baker was TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-54495 0130 hrs Poss Cocaine w/ Intent 1000 ft of Church 1000 N Seacrest Blvd
    Moss, Shedrick (b/m 7-22-81) was arrested after he was observed dropping bags containing .4 grams of crack and 1.1 grams of marijuana onto the property of the church located at the above address. Moss was arrested and TOT PBCJ.

    Between 10-25-09 at 1900 hrs and 0700 hrs this date, suspect(s) unknown entered victim’s vehicle by unknown means and stole her Tom Tom GPS unit. Total loss is $150. Crime scene was negative and there is no video surveillance of the area where the vehicle had been parked.

    Jenkins, Christopher (w/m 8-11-82) was arrested after he was found at the above location after having been previously trespass warned and having been previously arrested for violating that warning. Jenkins stated that he believed his prior arrest for violating the warning nullified the warning and allowed him to return. He was processed and TOT PBCJ.

    Between 10-25-09 at 2000 hrs and 0800 hrs today’s date, suspect(s) unknown broke into victim’s vehicle by punching the door locks on his Ford F150. Victim stated that his vehicle was previously punched and that he had replaced the locks on 10-25 (BBPD 09-53764). Total loss for this incident was estimated at $1394. Crime scene was negative.

  • 09-54243 - 2143 hrs - Burglary Auto - 1190 W Boynton Beach Blvd
    Between 1845 and 2145 hrs suspect(s) unknown broke into three vehicles at AMF Bowling, by punching the door locks. Once inside the vehicles they ripped apart the dashboards and stole the electronics units. One of the vehicles also had a Keltec .380 semi-auto pistol taken from the center console. Total loss was $6620. A partial print was obtained from one of the vehicles. There is no video surveillance available for this incident.

    As a result of a traffic stop, Colin, Jhonny (b/m 12-31-88) was arrested for possession of less than 20 gms of marijuana. He was released with a NTA. His passenger, Marcelus, Ricot (b/m 10-24-86) was arrested for possession of less than 20 gms of marijuana and for an outstanding arrest warrant (BBPD #09-54274). Marcelus was TOT PBCJ.

Overnight Incidents for October 24, 2009 - October 26, 2009

  • 09-54019 - 1853 hrs - Burglary Auto - 850 W. Gateway Blvd. (Mobil)
    Victim reported that he was parked at the gas pumps and went inside the station at 1850 hours, returning to find the rear passenger window broken at 1855 hours. A 40 inch Samsung LCD television had been removed from the backseat of the vehicle. A witness did not observe the theft, but advised a new model orange Dodge Challenger or Chevrolet Camaro (with black stripes), which had been parked near the victim’s vehicle, had sped off upon the witness viewing the two black male occupants. No further description provided on the occupants. Total loss is $960.00. Video surveillance exists, but was not provided by the business.

    Victim left her garage door open between 1910 and 1955 hrs and discovered upon return that someone had removed a red/silver/black Mongoose BMX bicycle (“Brittany” handwritten on the crossbars). Total loss is $138.00.

    Two separate female victims reported their wallets removed from their possession between 1900 and 2020 hours while shopping in the store. One wallet was removed from a purse the victim left in a shopping cart. The other wallet was removed from the back pocket of the victim.

    Ralph Baker reached over the counter at 7-11 and took a pack of Marlboro’s. He was detained and after arrest it was learned he also had four (4) outstanding local warrants-TOT PBCJ

  • 09-53907 2326 hrs Possession of Contraband 1333 N.Congress Ave
    Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord for a traffic offense. As the vehicle pulled in to the parking lot of Bru’s Room, the driver Michael Leroy (06/03/82) threw a plastic cup out of the open window. Leroy was arrested for Littering and an inventory of the vehicle revealed 1.9 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe in the center console. Leroy was charged with littering, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.

  • 09-53826 1623 hrs Retail Theft 801 N.Congress Ave (Macy’s)
    Officers arrested Marcia Diaz-Albo (03/26/76) after she attempted to steal a scarf valued at $38.00 from Macy’s. The merchandise was recovered without incident and she was released with an NTA.

  • 09-53873 2103 Hrs Disorderly Intoxication/Resisting Arrest w/o Violence 1116 Villa Ln
    Officers responded to 1116 Villa Ln in reference to a verbal argument between roommates. As officers were preparing to leave, an intoxicated Catherine Bove (05/06/88) followed officers outside and began screaming obscenities. She refused multiple requests to return to the residence and continued screaming at the officers. While being placed under arrest, Bove began struggling with officers. She was subsequently arrested and sent to the Palm Beach County Jail without further incident.

  • 09-53896 2237 hrs Burglary (auto) 1475 SW 8th Street (Cracker Barrel)
    Victim advised that she parked her 2003 Buick in the parking lot of the Cracker Barrel at approximately 1700 hours and went inside to work. When she returned to the vehicle at approximately 2230 hours, she discovered the vehicle unlocked and $304.00 in currency taken from the center console. Security camera footage shows an unknown vehicle pull behind the victim’s car at 2018 hours and leave approximately 5 minutes later. No suspect information obtained.

    Victim reported that sometime overnight both of the door locks on his Ford F-150 were “punched.” It does not appear that any items were taken from within and crime scene was negative.

  • 09-53770 1024 hrs 2301 S Congress #1011 Auto Burglary
    Victim reported that the driver’s door lock was punched and driver’s window broken out of his Ford Explorer sometime overnight. No items were reported stolen from within and crime scene was negative for prints.

  • 09-53788 1234 hrs 643 NE 4th Ave Loitering and Prowling
    Officers made contact with the driver of a maroon PT Cruiser (FL-N481ZS), later identified as Wallace Graham- 9/1/34, who was parked in the back of the St. Mark’s Church parking lot near the restrooms at Mangrove Park. It was discovered that Graham had been arrested in April of 2008 for voyeurism during a CRA operation in the Mangrove Park restrooms. Graham gave several incongruent stories as to why he was there and what he was doing and was subsequently arrested for L&P. He was TOT the PBCJ and his vehicle towed.

    Victim stated that between 0700 hrs and 1630 hrs unknown person(s) entered his residence by climbing in a bedroom window which had been broken out. Taken from the residence were a 19” TV ($500.00), a stereo ($500.00), a guitar ($800.00), a HP desktop computer ($2000.00), a Seiko watch ($700.00), a Sony digital camera ($4000.00), a Nikon camera ($4000.00), and a camcorder ($500.00).

    Victim stated that between 0630 hrs and 1630 hrs unknown person(s) entered her residence by breaking out a bedroom window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) took a 12” HP laptop ($800.00), miscellaneous Colombian jewelry (4500.00), some DVD’s ($40.00), and a 12” machete ($100.00).

    Victim stated that between 0700 hrs and 1900 hrs unknown person(s) entered his residence through an unlocked sliding glass door.     Suspect entered her white 2007 Hummer while the victim was putting away her groceries and removed her purse which she placed on the front passenger seat. No forced entry, as doors were still unlocked.

    Suspect broke into victim’s blue 2009 Nissan Murano in the parking lot in front of his residence, between 10/20/09 2200 hrs and 10/21/09 0845 hours. No forced entry. Doors left unlocked. Taken were and 80 gb black Apple I-Pod and auto adapter. Total loss $550.00.

    Victim reported someone entered his home between 0615 and 1800 hours this date. He discovered his back door unlocked and there were pry marks on the door frame near the dead bolt and door handle. Victim found both bedrooms ransacked. He was unable to determine if anything was missing at this time

    W/F Julieta O’Donnell DOB 10-02-52 was arrested after she interfered and pushed two officers who were attempting to take her son into custody under a Baker Act.     An employee at ABC Liquors observed a black male concealing two bottles of gin in his pants. As the employee attempted to recover the gin the suspect, described as being approx 40 to 50 yrs old 5’08” 150 lbs, attempted to force the employee out of the way. When the suspect was not able to force his way past the employee he removed the bottles from his pants and fled the store. Suspect was last seen leaving in a Toyota Camry bearing FL tag M032KC.

    Officers responded to the above location in reference to a burglary in progress. Victim stated that he was about to enter his vehicle when he noticed two black male juveniles inside the vehicle. He then retreated to his home and phoned police. Investigation revealed that the juveniles had attempted to smash the steering column in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Damage estimated at $100. Search of the area met with negative results.

The unknown suspect(s) took a purse which was left on the front seat by victim’s female passenger. Inside the purse were a New Hampshire D/L and a set of keys.

    While investigating the burglary to the Dodge Stratus, officer located in the bushes of McDonald’s a purse belonging to another person. This victim stated that between 1810 hrs and 1820 hrs she was at the Boynton Diner. Victim stated that while at the Diner she left her blue “07 Honda Odyssey unlocked. When she got home she realized her purse was missing. Victim was given back her purse and advised that only a Wachovia checkbook and debit card were missing.

    Officers responded to investigate two subjects passed out in a vehicle at this address.     Ofc Sohn conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching a bolo that had been issued in reference to a strong arm robbery in Lantana. As the vehicle was stopping the driver, identified as Nunez, Christopher (w/m 3-7-90), began making numerous furtive movements beneath the driver’s seat. Ofc Sohn ordered Nunez out of the vehicle and observed, in plain view, a loaded magazine for a 9mm pistol. A search of the vehicle revealed a Ruger 9mm pistol beneath the seat and two small bags of marijuana. Nunez was arrested and TOT PBCJ.

    Two vehicle collision where the driver of V1 an elderly female was trauma alerted to Delray Medical Center. Driver had been knocked unconscious during the crash. Driver was conscious and breathing at the scene. Follow-up invest. Being done by the traffic unit.

  • 09-51184 1210 hours Fail to stop 400 N. Federal Hwy.
    Sgt. Faine attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 1997 Oldsmobile 4 door, bearing FL tag # N868JS, traveling s/b on N. Federal Hwy., driving at a high rate of speed. When Sgt. Faine attempted a traffic stop the vehicle continued to travel at a high rate of speed attempting to elude the traffic stop. The vehicle then made an abrupt turn into the parking lot of 400 N. Federal Hwy. where the driver and passenger of the vehicle attempted to flee on foot. Both subjects were taken into custody prior to them being able to flee the area. The driver B/M Richard Louisdort 01/20/89 was arrested and charged with Fleeing and Eluding, DWLS, and resisting arrest. The passenger B/M Vital Aldajuste 07/28/89 was not arrested and released from the scene. B/M Mitchell Francois was subsequently arrested for obstruction after trying to interfere with the above arrests. Louisdort was sent to PBCJ and Francois was released with an NTA.

Taken from the Taurus was her black & white purse ($30.00) containing $10.00 cash, a Metro PCS cell phone ($150.00) and her credit cards and FL D/L.

    B/F Charlotte Harper DOB 12-10-63 was found to be concealing a knife on her person after officer found her loitering on abandoned property. Harper was also in possession of a beer (COV). Harper resisted officers’ effort to take her into custody and was additionally charged.

    Victim stated that at approximately 2100 hrs she was walking to her car which was parked outside the East Main entrance to the Mall. When she neared her car, a Latin male (6-00, 180lbs) approached her from behind and snatched her purse from her shoulder. The victim was uninjured and stated the male ran south through the parking lot towards Old Boynton Road. Victim stated that inside her purse was a custom gold necklace with a distinctive Greek symbol charm ($2000.00). Victim stated she delayed reporting the incident as she locked herself in her car and then drove around before returning to the Mall to call police.

    As the victim finished pumping gas she noticed a black or Latin female was closing her passenger door, and was in possession of the victim’s purse. The incident may have been caught on the business’ surveillance video, which will not be available until the manager comes in.

  • 09-50457 1821 hrs Burglary (auto) 1899 N Congress Avenue
    Victim stated that between 1815 hrs and 1820 hrs an unknown person entered his black ’98 Ford F-150 pick-up by “punching” out the door lock. Victim had been parked at the Sprint PCS store. Taken from the pick-up were three (3) 12 packs of soda ($15.00) which were on the front seat. The suspect was described as a w/m wearing blue shorts and a backpack. He was observed running towards the CVS store.

  • 09-50513 0010 hrs Robbery (strong-arm) 1100 Old Boynton Rd
    Victim stated that as he was riding his bicycle east on Old Boynton Road near the bridge two unknown black males pushed him off the bike. Once on the ground, the males took his wallet containing $24.00 cash. The males were described as 19-25 years old with thin builds and dread lock hair.

  • 09-50515 0053 hrs Warrant Arrest 1300 N Congress Avenue
    W/M Alexander Fahey DOB 11-02-86 was found to have an outstanding FTA warrant from BSO after a traffic stop. Fahey was sent to county jail after the warrant was confirmed.

  • 09-50290 1738 hrs Burglary (auto) 1190 W Boynton Beach Blvd
    Victim stated that between 1600 hrs and 1730 hrs unknown person(s) entered her blue ’09 Honda Odyssey by smashing out the driver’s side window while it was parked at AMF Bowl. Taken from the car was a HP Touch Smart laptop ($1350.00), a Juicy Couture backpack ($125.00) a Coach wallet ($180.00), and her credit cards.

  • 09-50344 0006 hrs Possession of Contraband 2100 N Seacrest Blvd
    B/M Michael D Nimmons 10-13-71 was found to be in possession of marijuana following a traffic stop. As officers approached the car to investigate the traffic infraction, Nimmons was observed placing items from a Newport cigarette box into his mouth. As he was talking a green leafy substance began to fall out of his mouth. Nimmons was additionally charged with tampering with evidence, resisting w/o violence, and driving with no license issued. He was medically cleared due to the ingestion of the marijuana and sent to county jail.

  • 09-50362 0252 hrs Burglary (Smash & Grab) 1520 S Federal Hwy
    The owner of U-Gas came to the store to check on his faulty alarm and discovered the front door smashed out with a cinder block. Taken from the store was the cash register containing an unknown amount of US currency. Crime scene responded to process.

  • 09-50098 1702 hrs Auto Burglary 4305 N Congress Ave
    Sometime between 1610 and 1645 hours victim’s vehicle was burglarized by smashing out the passenger rear window. Several anonymous witnesses stated they observed a new silver BMW X5 occupied by two black males in their 20's back into the parking space next to victim’s vehicle. The passenger then exited, began shaking a floor mat and then smashed the window and removed the diaper bag. The BMW then quickly left the park southbound on Congress Ave. No further description. Crime scene negative. Estimated loss $385.00.

  • 09-50109 1801 hrs Retail Theft 801 N Congress Ave
    W/F Denise Sutherland DOB 06/02/52 was arrested from retail theft after she stole three shirts from Macy’s. Total value $81.00. Sutherland was issued an NTA.

  • 09-50113 1828 hr Warrant Arrest 1005 N Seacrest Blvd.
    B/M Gregory Alexander was arrested after it was found he had two outstanding warrants for sale of cocaine. Gregory TOT to PBCJ.

  • 09-50116 1831 hrs Burglary Residence 310 Miner Road
    Sometime between 10/2/09 at 1500 and this date victim advised unknown person(s) entered the residence by unknown means and then entered the master bedroom by prying open the door and removing a gun safe from under the bed. The safe contained a .32 Magnum revolver, black finish and a 9mm Jennings handgun with silver finish. The rest of the bedrooms were ransacked but nothing else appeared to be taken. The house was still locked upon the victim’s return. Crime scene was negative.

  • 09-50127 1938 hrs Disorderly Intoxication 739 E Ocean Ave
    Units responded in reference to a report of a disorderly patron, who was allegedly in possession of a firearm. Upon arrival it was learned that the patron, Anderson, Stephen (w/m 3-1-65) was not armed, but was disrupting the business. He was arrested for disorderly intoxication and TOT PBCJ.

  • 09-50064 1125 hrs. Burglary Concession Stand 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd.
    Officers responded to a delayed burglary to concession stand at the “Bill Tome Sports Complex”. Upon arrival they discovered that person’s unk. had forcibly entered into the concession stand between 2200 hrs. 10-3-09 and 1100 hrs. 10-04-09 by entering through a partially open window and prying open an interior door. Approx. $60.00 in food products were removed from the structure as well as $100.00 in damages.

  • 09-50065/ 09-50068 1150 hrs. Possn Cocaine/ Warrant Arrest 913 N. Seacrest Blvd.
    Officers performed surveillance on William “Billy” King 12-22-65 and arrested him for possession of cocaine W/ Intent to sell within 1000 feet of a Church and two outstanding warrants from PBSO after King was observed performing open air drug deals in the area. King was found to possess approx. 6.0 grams of cocaine freebase rock. A vehicle that King was dealing from 98 Chevy Purple in color was taken for forfeiture. King tot PBCJ.

  • 09-49961 1802 hrs Warrant Arrest 3920 Hypoluxo Rd
    W/M Alexis Abreu was arrested after a traffic stop, when it was found he had two outstanding warrants out of PBSO for DWLS, Attaching Tag/Not Assigned and operating unregistered vehicle. Abreu was also issued multiple citations for the above reasons. Abreu TOT to PBCJ.

  • 09-49969 1838 hrs GTA Attempt 130 High Point Blvd
    Sometime between 1600 hours on 10/2/09 and 1600 hours this date unknown person(s) entered her vehicle and attempted to steal the vehicle as the ignition and steering wheel was found to be damaged. The vehicle was also rummaged through but it appears nothing was taken. Crime scene negative.

  • 09-49989 2043 hrs Robbery/Firearm 1919 N Seacrest Blvd
    Victim advised that he responded to the area of NW 19th Ave and NW 2nd Ct in order to meet a black male known only as “Jay” for the purpose of purchasing oxycodone. When he arrived he walked with “Jay” and an unknown black male onto the Ezell Hester football fields. Once inside the fenced area, “Jay” produced a black pistol and demanded victim’s money. Victim was relieved of his wallet, $60, cellular phone, and car keys. “Jay” and the other suspect then ran to where victim’s vehicle, a 06 Honda, was parked. “Jay” and the other suspect then fled the area in victim’s vehicle. At approximately 0100 hrs Lantana PD located the vehicle at 1310 W Lantana Rd.

    B/M Rodney German 1/18/79 was arrested after investigation revealed he was drinking Rum from a Styrofoam cup while in a public park. German was issued a NTA.

  • 09-50020 2355 hrs Single Veh Crash 1920 High Ridge Rd
    Units responded in reference to a report of a single vehicle roll over crash. Upon arrival units located an ‘06 BMW M3 on its passenger side against a tree. The vehicle had also knocked down two separate concrete light poles. The owner/operator of the vehicle was located (uninjured) at 850 W Gateway attempting to summon assistance.

  • 09-049889 09:44 hrs Vandalism Auto 702 N Broughton Cir.
    Victim advised that forced entry was attempted on his 06 Ford Ranger bearing Fl tag K064GC. Victim advised entry was not made but the drivers door lock was damaged, it should be noted this is the second time. The victim failed to report the first incident and repaired the driver’s door lock which was $300.00 dollars.

  • 09-049896 10:20 hrs Vandalism Auto 305 Broughton Ct.
    Victim advised that the door lock on his 02 Ford F-150 bearing Fl. tag C743YA had been punched. It did not appear that entry was made into the passenger compartment. Damage is $300.00 dollars.

  • 09- 049897 10:33 hrs Burglary Residence 243 SE 24TH Ave.
    Victim advised that entry was made into her residence through an unlocked front door. Taken was a Gateway laptop computer and G.E. digital camera. Total loss $800.00 dollars.

  • 09-49766 1533 hrs Residential Burglary 21 Baytree Cir
    Sometime between 0855 and 1530 hours on today's date unknown person entered victim’s residence by breaking a bedroom window. Once inside, unknown person(s) removed $1275 dollars in jewelry and then exited via a rear sliding glass door. Crime scene positive for latent prints.

    B/M Danelo Denson was arrested for stealing a video game. Staff advised they had a unreported retail theft the day before by the same individual where he stole 4 video games (09-49817) Post Miranda Denson confessed to both thefts and furthermore Denson was found to have a warrant (09-49802) Denson TOT to PBCJ.

    W/M Ricky Bates was arrested for drinking beer out of an open container. Due to Bates being residentially challenged he was TOT to PBCJ.

  • 09-49794 1846 hrs Auto Burglary (LA Fitness) 2290 N Congress Ave
    Victim advised sometime between 1445 and 1630 hours unknown person(s) entered her vehicle via a partially opened window and removed her black leather purse which was under the passenger seat.

  • 09-49621 1736 hrs Burglary Residence 2761 NE 1st St.
    Victim reported someone entered her residence by breaking a window between 1005 and 1730 hours, rifling through her belongings and throwing her clothing on the floor. Nothing noted as missing at this time. Crime scene was negative.

  • 09-49666 2153 hrs Police Assist Ocean Ridge 19 E. Ocean Ave.
    Ocean Ridge PD requested assistance, due to an in-progress burglary at 19 E. Ocean Ave. Boynton officers arrived at the scene and set up perimeter on the home. Ocean Ridge advised that the home had been burglarized via entry through a second story window. The entry appeared to have been made by placing a ladder against the home and prying open the window. Subsequent investigation revealed subjects were gone prior to arrival, leaving tire tracks on the property.
