Boynton Beach Police Department - PatrolPatrol

The backbone of any police department are the men and women who work the streets. The majority of our sworn personnel are assigned to the uniformed services division and do exactly that.

The city is divided into three districts (northeast, northwest and south). The sectors are patrolled 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by dedicated police officers.

Click here to see a map of the districts.

Patrol is divided into four shifts. One lieutenant is assigned to each district as the district commander. The lieutenants are Lt. Stewart Steele, Lt. Paul Deale and Lt. David Wier. Click here to read their biographies.

Sergeants serve as field supervisors. There are four sergeants assigned to each shift. The sergeants are Sgt. Chuck King, Sgt. Tom McCabe, Sgt. Craig Anthony, Sgt. Frank Danysh, Sgt. Leif Broberg, Sgt. Hap Crowell, Sgt. Phil Hawkins, Sgt. Steve Wessendorf, Sgt. Mike Kelley, Sgt. Luis Rodrigues, Sgt. CaryAnn Matson, Sgt. Rich McNevin, Sgt. John Dunlop, Sgt. Mike Johnson, Sgt. Russ Faine and Sgt. Ronald "Doc" Davis.
