Boynton Beach Police Chief Michael Gregory has been appointed to a newly formed Florida Police Chiefs Association subcommittee on accountability and societal change.
Gregory joins 11 other law enforcement executives from across the state who will work together on best practices language, using the 8 Can’t Wait plan as a guide, to create standardized procedures that can be implemented statewide.
“Police accountability and the shift in society’s expectations of police departments is one of the most important topics affecting communities in this state today,” Gregory said. “I’m honored to have a voice in shaping best practices and standardized procedures that can be implemented statewide.”
