Boynton Beach Police are investigating a hit and run crash that severely injured a Delray Beach man on Saturday afternoon.
James Winget, 33, was driving his motorcycle in the 500 block of West Woolbright Road at around 1:20 p.m., when he was struck by a Chevrolet Trailblazer that entered his lane of travel.
He was ejected from the red 1999 Honda Shadow motorcycle. He was taken via trauma alert to Delray Medical Center, where he remains in stable condition.
Traffic homicide investigators are looking for a green 2002-2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, possibly with a ladder strapped to its roof. There is damage to the front passenger’s side of the SUV, and part of the passenger’s side mirror is missing.
