A Boynton Beach man has died as a result of injuries he suffered in a traffic crash earlier this month.
Frank Valentine, 80, was driving south on Southwest 18th Street when his 2005 Toyota Camry was struck by a 2004 Nissan Murano traveling west on West Woolbright Road. The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
It is believed that both cars entered the intersection at the same time, which caused the front of the Nissan Murano, driven by Lumenes Dorcent, to strike the driver’s side door of Toyota Camry.
Dorcent, 42, of Boynton Beach, was not injured. Valentine was taken via trauma alert to Delray Medical Center. He died yesterday afternoon.
Traffic Homicide Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Aramis Grigorian at 561-742-6147.
