In October, Animal Cruelty Investigator Liz Roehrich seized 5 dogs, 6 puppies and 2 snakes from a house on Northeast 12th Avenue due to neglect and inhumane living conditions.

Yesterday, the owner of the animals, Tavarus Jackson, 36, of Boynton Beach, was taken into custody and charged with one count of felony cruelty to animals and two counts of misdemeanor cruelty to animals. He remains in the Palm Beach County Jail as of this writing.
Liz tells us that all of the animals were treated, nourished and placed up for adoption at Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control.
