Looking for information about a crime prevention program? Need to submit a tip about criminal activity in your neighborhood? Want to commend a police officer for helping you?
It’s now easier than ever thanks to the new and improved Boynton Beach Police Department website, www.bbpd.org.
There are several key components to the website, including the ability to request a public record online, request an extra patrol if you’re going on vacation, submit crime tips and commend officers for their good work. The FAQ section will answer commonly asked questions, and under Department Contacts, users can easily find the phone numbers and email addresses for unit supervisors.
“We are excited to share our new online presence and hope you’ll find the website informative, attractive and easy to navigate,” Chief Jeffrey S. Katz said. “We believe this interactive resource nicely augments our social media presence and reflect many of the recent improvements we’ve made as a public service organization.”
The site was designed and created by LISS Interactive and will be maintained by the Office of Media Relations.
