18-018741 DUI Arrest Lawrence Rd & Miner Rd 2031 hours
Officers conducted a traffic stop at the above address. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle who displayed physical evidence of inebriation. Officer D. Castro conducted a DUI investigation which resulted in the arrest of the driver, W/M Granados Oliva, Marvin (01/12/66), on suspicions of DUI.
18-018761 R/A & C.O.V. 402 NE 13th Ave 2221 hours
Officers responded to the above address following a report of a male burning trash in the backyard. Officers and BBFR personnel educated the male about the dangers of an open flame in the backyard. BBFR personnel put out the backyard fire and left the residence. Shortly thereafter, the male started a new trash-filled fire pit in the backyard. Officers responded back to the residence and placed the male under arrest for violation of City Code of Ordinance 9-18(b). The defendant, b/m Chad A. Williams, resisted officers during his arrest. An officer deployed his X-26 Taser in order to subdue Williams. The defendant was medically cleared, processed at BBPD, and was later turned over to the PBCJ.

18- 18672 1529 hrs Delayed Burglary Residence 1671 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Unknown persons entered the vacant residence and destroyed several walls while taking copper pipes within. An appliance was also stolen. Incident occurred sometime within the last several months.
18-18677 1559 hrs Delayed Burglary Residence 9 Via Lago
Unknown person entered the residence within the past two days, via unsecured sliding glass door, and stole several fishing rods/reels.
18-18676 1604 hrs Overdose (Non-Fatal) 520 SE 21st Ave. #208
Adult male called for medical assistance for an adult female whom was experiencing a drug overdose. Female was lethargic and disoriented and was purported to have used an Opiod substance. The male then admitted to utilizing the same substance and requested medical assistance. Both subjects tot to Bethesda Hospital via BBFR.
