16-045398 Burglary to Residence/Delayed 114 E. Ocean Dr. 15:03 hours
Victim reported that he was painting a vacant unit when an unknown male subject requested to look inside the unit. After the subject left the unit, the victim discovered that his white Samsung Core cell phone/w blue case was missing from the unit.
16-045403 Burglary to Residence/Delayed SW 5th St 16:20 hours
Victim (elderly) reported she was hospitalized from July 27th to August 17, 2016. On today’s date she discovered that a saw was missing from her garage.
16-045399 Burglary Forced Entry/Day SW 28th Avenue 16:28 hours
Victim reported while she was at her doctor’s office her alarm company notified the alarm had been activated. The victim left her residence at 15:50 hours and returned at 16:30 hours. The front door of the residence was open and the lock was damaged. The victim found the inside of the residence to be in disarray however after an inventory check no items appeared to be missing from inside the residence.
16-045404 Burglary Forced Entry/Day NE 12th Terr 17:11 hours
Victim advised sometime between the hours of 10:00 and 17:00 unknown individuals entered the residence. The front door was found open and the front window of the residence was broken. After checking the residence the owner discovered the bedrooms ransacked and numerous items missing. Total loss estimated at $20,202.
16-045414 Burglary Residence Delayed 1131 SE 4th Street 18:01 hours
Victim advised sometime between 22:30 hours on 8/15/2016 and 11:00 hours the following day unknown person(s) entered his unsecured residence and removed his laptop from his dining room table. The victim believes the culprits may have entered the residence on Monday night while he was sleeping.
16-045312 0646 hours Burglary 620 SE 1st Avenue
Victim advised that sometime between 08/16/2016 at 0730 hours, and 08/17/2016 at 0500 hours, an unknown suspect burglarized her tool shed. The tool shed is located in the back yard secured with a latch and a padlock. The suspect gained entry by breaking the latch, but left the padlock intact. An Echo Weed eater ($300) is missing from the shed.
16-045345 1106 hours Failed to Stop for Officer 100 East MLK Blvd.
Officer Sohn observed a 2017 Black Ford Mustang bearing Fl. tag 995-JPZ run a red light at NE 10 Ave./Seacrest Blvd. This vehicle fled from officers of this agency last week (Case # 16-0044174). When signaled to stop via emergency lights/siren, the vehicle immediately increased speed, ran through a stop sign within a neighborhood, and failed to stop again. All efforts to stop this vehicle were terminated, and it was last seen headed northbound on Seacrest Blvd.
