18-065946 Burglary To Residence 724 NW 7th Ct 1729 hours
Officers responded to the above address and met with the caller who reported a delayed burglary to his residence. The caller said he got home from work and decided to inspect the exterior of his home due to a burglary alarm notification he received earlier in the day. The caller noticed damage and signs of forced entry to an exterior bathroom window. The caller then entered the residence to find his master bedroom rummaged through.
18-065957 Poss. Of Heroin, R.A. w/o 500 W. Boynton Bch Blvd 1937 hours
Officers conducted a traffic stop on black Chevy Impala FL tag Z11-HFW at the above location. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle as the officers spoke to the five occupants of the vehicle. The officers decided to search the vehicle and asked the occupants to exit the vehicle. One passenger, Raymond Miles Jr, started to conceal his hands as the other occupants exited the vehicle. Officers grabbed Miles and pulled Miles out of the vehicle. Miles physically resisted the officers in the process. Officers arrested Miles and Officers found Miles to be in possession of Heroin and Marijuana. Miles was turned over to the PBCJ after processing.

Officers on patrol came across a male who was walking in the middle of the road as vehicular traffic passed by. The officers made contact with the male, Guervens Tilus, to inquire about why Tilus was walking in the roadway so close to passing vehicles. Tilus immediately became hostile and very agitated. The officer attempted to detain Tilus for a preliminary mental health assessment. Tilus physically resisted the officer. As a result, the officer deployed his X26 Taser which was successful in stopping Tilus. Tilus was arrested and t.o.t PBCJ.

Officers were dispatched to a delayed burglary at the above address. The caller/victim told the officers that unknown persons entered the apartment and stole approximately $2,700 worth of electronics. The victim believed that the suspects used some keys that were stolen with his roommate’s vehicle a week prior.
