17-000333 2313 hours 128 NE 10th Ave. Poss. of Heroin/DUI Crash/ Felony Warrant
Officers responded to a crash (vehicle vs. building). Front passenger Jerome Inman was found to be in possession of a plastic bag containing 3 capsules of heroin. Additionally, Inman had an active felony warrant for Grand Theft out of PSL. Inman was processed and transported to PBSO main jail. Officer Berben completed the crash and DUI investigation, where he determined that the driver Lizzette Newman was impaired. Newman was taken into custody and processed at the PBSO B.A.T. facility.
17-000206 0853hrs Stolen Auto 4475 N. Ocean Blvd. (ST. ANDREWS CLUB DORNOCH)
2013 Black Toyota 4Runner bearing PA tag# HCW5349 taken from the club house sometime between 01-01-17 at approximately 2130hrs and today at approximately 0830hrs.The owner has the keys to the vehicle in his possession. Security camera shows the vehicle speeding out of the community and running the stop sign, but was unable to capture anything further.
17-000087 R/A without Violence 2401 NW 1st Street 16:01 hours
Units responded to 2501 NW 1st Street in reference to a general disturbance. Officers attempted to make contact with W/M Cesar E. James (DOB 11/25/90) who was using his fists to strike the back window of a parked vehicle. James then approached officers in an aggressive manner while failing to comply with officers commands; at which time Officer Worrell deployed her taser. James was subsequently taken into custody. Transported to BMH for medical clearance and Tot to PBCJ. SIR in progress.
17-000100 Burglary Residence Delayed 250 N. Palm Dr. 17:25 hours
Victim told police she secured her residence sometime in the evening hours of 12/31/2016; when she returned on 1/1/2017 unknown subject(s) entered the residence and absconded with a kitchen sink, countertop, screen door and screen enclosures. In addition to the stolen items, several windows were damaged making it impossible to identify where the subject(s) made entry inside the residence.
17-000141 Suspicious incident/shots fired 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd 21:12 hours
Units responded to the area in reference to shots fired. Prior to arrival units heard several shots fired in the area. While units bolo’d the area numerous gunshots were heard in the area of 400 NW17th Avenue. Once units arrived in the area the shooting ceased. Units canvassed the area for casings and evidence with negative results.
17-000048 0757hrs Motor Vehicle Theft 2620 NE 1st Ct.
Victim stated that unknown suspect(s) stole his 2013 Ford Edge bearing Quebec tag Y55DEH sometime between 0100hrs and 0745hrs this date.
17-000060 1039hrs Lewd and Lascivious 14 Southern Cross Cir #103
Two victims stated that they observed a black male outside their window at approximately 0200hrs. Upon closer look they advised that the male was masturbating while looking at them through the window. Subject fled the area. Victims waited several hours to notify BBPD.
16-072240 2029 hours Loitering and Prowling 7002 Dreyden Court
Witness reported seeing a black male in the gated courtyard of the victim’s home. Witness followed suspect until he was detained by officers. Suspect was identified as B/M Sergil, Evins (12-01-83). The gate of the residence appeared to be smashed in. Victim is currently overseas. Sergil was charged with Loitering and Prowling and TOT PBCJ.
17-000010 0044 hours Aggravated Assault (Firearm) 409 NW 7th Ct.
Multiple victims reported that W/M Robert Fishman (01-16-87) approached their party and then threatened them with a Glock handgun. Fishman who was clearly intoxicated stated that he was looking for trouble and was returning to the residence when officers intercepted him. Fishman was charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Assault and TOT PBCJ.
16-072168 1248hrs Possession of Methamphetamine 500 W. Woolbright Rd.
While investigating a vehicle crash it was determined that one of the subjects was in possession of methamphetamine. The subject, Sheri Shaver, was arrested and processed at BBPD. While testing the narcotics, Ofc. Mastro received a small laceration on his hand when the glass from the test ampule penetrated the test pouch. BBFR responded and treated the injury, SIR completed.
16-070219 1553hrs Traffic Crash/DUI 4770 N. Congress Ave
Officers responded to a traffic crash and while conducting the investigation, it appeared one of the driver’s Randall Brock (D.O.B. 09-09-57) involved may be under the influence of a controlled substance. A DUI investigation was conducted which resulted in Brock being placed under arrest for DUI. Brock was TOT PBCJ.
