14-054015 Poss of Marijuana/Paraphernalia 200 NE 15th Avenue
Officers Webster and Spence in collaboration with K9 Officer Sohn, made contact with B/M Tavarus B. Moss (11/15/89), B/M Anthony C. Mason (9/26/94), and B/M Brent F. Moses (1/15/90), who were suspected of drug sales/activity. After establishing a probable cause to search; all three individuals were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Moss, Mason, and Moses were charged accordingly and released with a Notice to Appear respectively.
14-054036 Poss of Crack/Powder Cocaine/Heroin/Marijuana 2821 S. Federal Highway
Officer Esteves conducted a citizen contact with with, W/F Linda M. Llerena (25 YOA) and passenger, W/F Caroline Robinson (25 YOA), who were occupying a suspicious vehicle at the Homing Inn. After establishing probable cause to search, the following items were on or about Llerena’s person – a plastic bottle containing 1 gram of crack cocaine, 6.4 grams of marijuana, 1 gram of powder cocaine, and .4 grams of Heroin. Additionally, Robinson was in possession of drug paraphernalia (i.e. syringe needles); she was subsequently released with a Notice to Appear. However, Llerena was charged accordingly and subsequently transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
14-054041 Poss of Marijuana 100 NW 6th Avenue
Officer Spence conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Honda bearing FL M708KB; afterwards contact with driver, later identified as B/F Michaela Reed (09/22/1989). After establishing reasonable cause to search the vehicle; Reed was in possession of marijuana. Reed was charged accordingly and released with a Notice to Appear and several traffic citations.
14-054049 Poss of Marijuana 500 E. Woolbright Road
Officer Spence conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Toyota Camry bearing FL 562PKB; afterwards contact with B/M Ricky B. Clark, Jr. (09/25/1989). After establishing reasonable cause to search the vehicle; Clark was in possession of marijuana. Clark was charged accordingly and released with a Notice to Appear and several traffic citations.
14-54069 Agg. Fleeing and Eluding and much more 100 NW 10th Ave
Officer Sohn observed a vehicle driving recklessly that might have struck a pedestrian (no victim as of this writing). Officer Sohn then attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle which drove west bound stopping a brief moment at the 100 block of NW 10th Ave at which time the driver yelled at individuals that were congregating at this location and continued west bound failing to yield to police vehicle (4723). As Officer Sohn drove passed the individuals on the side of the road, rocks or hard objects starting hitting his vehicle. Officer Spence who was driving vehicle 4939, who was directly behind Officer Sohn, also had something thrown at his vehicle but no damage was located at this time. Officer Sohn continued to try and stop the vehicle/driver which failed comply. The vehicle eventually crashed into a mailbox located at 133 NW 5th Ct where the driver Anthony Caldwell (12-12-91) bailed out of the vehicle and ran east bound towards North Seacrest Blvd. Officer Sohn gave foot pursuit with K-9 Bako eventually catching him in the north bound lanes of North Seacrest Blvd. Officers on scene were able to handcuff Caldwell as he was continuously resisting officers as he was being ordered to stop resisting and submit to the handcuffing. K-9 Bako had grabbed Caldwell’s right hand and that is where the majority of the injuries were sustained. Caldwell also sustained road rash to his right buttocks area and a One to one and half inch laceration to the left side of his head. Caldwell was transported to Bethesda for the injuries sustained. The vehicle that Caldwell was operating was a 2011 Chevy bearing a FL tag 897TTY which belonged to another individual out Delray Beach who we were not able to locate. It was learned later that this vehicle has been used as a crack rental several times in the past. Caldwell was charged with Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, Driving while license is Revoked, leaving the scene of crash with property damage and Resisting Arrest without Violence to include multiple citations for the traffic infractions that were observed.
14-053955 0543hrs DUI crash 8352 Bermuda Sound Way
Officers responded to the area in reference to a vehicle which hit a fence at 8344 Bermuda Sound Way, then struck the garage door at 8352 Bermuda Sound Way. The driver of the vehicle, Melissa Dills, was taken to Bethesda Hospital and charges will be filed.
14-053971 1003hrs Delayed Burglary Auto 801 N. Congress Ave
Victim reported that sometime between 1330hrs and 1400hrs on 12/04/14 unknown suspect(s) entered his work van and stole several items from inside.
14-053877 Filing a False Police Report 1919 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Officer James made contact with complainant, B/F Latoria Wiggins, reported and completed a Stolen Vehicle Affidavit stating her vehicle (Black 2012 Hyundai Elantra bearing FL D413LM), was just stolen from the parking lot of Rainbow City. Within a few minutes, Officers located the subject vehicle near/at the entrance to The Preserve (1600 block of NE 4th Street); where a traffic stop was conducted. Officers made contact with the driver, B/M Alton Fudge, who spontaneously stated that “Tori lent him the vehicle” the evening prior. Investigation revealed that Wiggins did in-fact lend her vehicle to Fudge; however, when he failed to return her calls/text message – she called the police and reported her vehicle stolen. Wiggins was charged accordingly and later released with a Notice to Appear.
14-053893 Disorderly Intoxication 3501 S. Federal Highway
Officer Esteves made contact with W/M Anthony Parrillo, after getting into a verbal disturbance at the above location. Investigation revealed that an extremely intoxicated Parrillo, was causing a fracas while other residents were having a pool side gala. After Parrillo was processed, he was transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
14-053915 DWLS w/ Knowledge/Possession of Cocaine 1100 SE 1st Street
Officer Esteves made contact with W/F Karen R. Elliott, post a traffic stop of a Silver Honda Accord bearing FL CWCE75, for a traffic infraction (expired tag 11/28/14). After establishing that Elliott’s driving privileges were suspended w/ knowledge; she was arrested for such. An inventory of the vehicle, in preparation to have the subject vehicle towed; revealed that under Elliott’s seat was crack cocaine. Elliott was charged accordingly and later transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
14-053941 Shots Fired/Suspicious Incident 801 N. Congress Ave.
Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities – the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.
14-053947 Possession of Marijuana 217 N. Federal Highway
Officers Spence and Esteves made contact with W/M Ryan Driggers (08/13/1995), post a traffic stop of a Gray 2000 Chevy pickup bearing FL 689NCY, for a traffic infraction. After establishing a probable cause search; Driggers was in possession of marijuana. Driggers was charged accordingly and later transported to the Palm Beach County Jail, without incident.
Road Closures Holiday Parade Noon to 1800 hours
On 12/06/14 the following roads will be closed for the holiday parade. Ocean Avenue from Seacrest Blvd. to Federal Hwy., Federal Hwy from Boynton Beach Blvd to Woolbright Road., and NE 4th Street from Boynton Beach Blvd., to SE 12th Avenue.
14-053812 09:29 hours Burglary Res Non-Force Entry 1909 Belmont Place
Victim advised he met a Hispanic female in the parking lot of 744 W. Boynton Beach Blvd. (7-11) who he hired to clean his house. The next morning the defendant entered the bathroom where the victim was showering and absconded with his pants containing a wallet and approximately $1000.00 U.S.C. Defendant W/F Napa, Serena was charged with Burglary, Grand theft, and Possession of Cocaine. Napa tot to PBCJ without incident.
