16-007582 1718hrs Burglary to Auto 1500 SW 8th ST (Home Depot)
Contact was made with victim, who stated she parked her vehicle (Toyt FL tag EPEG96) in the parking lot of Home Depot and went inside to get a few things. When she returned to the vehicle, she found her passenger front side window broken. Victim stated that she had several Apple products stolen from the inside of her vehicle. Victim also stated she believed she was followed from the Apple Store and that is how the suspects knew the item where in her vehicle.
16-007585 1735hrs Burglary to Auto 701 N. Congress Ave (Panera Bread)
Contact was made with victim who stated at 1015 hours he parked his 2016 gray Lexus (FL tag EJML35) in the front parking lot of Panera located on 701 N Congress Ave. When he returned at approximately 1030 hours he noticed his handicap placard was missing (value $25.00). He said left his vehicle unsecured and could not provide any suspect information.
16-007594 1830hrs Possession of Heroin 1475 SW 8th ST (Cracker Barrel)
Officer McCaffrey responded to Cracker Barrel Restaurant, 1475 SW 8th St., in reference to a drug overdose. While in route, BBPD Dispatch advised the caller W/M Alexander Glover stated it was a heroin overdose and they were in a white van. Officer McCaffrey made contact with Glover who stated his friend W/M Bryant Nova had “shot up” with heroin and had been unresponsive for approximately 30 minutes. As soon as Officer McCaffrey went to render aid to Nova, Nova popped up and asked what was going on. Nova was treated by BBFD and cleared. Through investigation Officer McCaffrey was able to determine that Glover and Nova were in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Both were placed under arrest and TOT PBCJ.
16-007620 2042hrs Suspicious Incident (train possibly striking pedestrian) 1500 S. FEC
The conductor of the southbound train advised that he possibly struck a pedestrian at Woolbright Road and the FEC tracks. Officers scoured the area looking for a victim; however no one was located. It was also advised by the conductor that the pedestrian did continue to walk west from the tracks. The scene was cleared and the train went back in service.
16-007626 2133hrs Burglary to Auto 1511 SW Nicholas DR
Contact was made with victim who explained sometime between 1400 hours and 2000 hours on today’s date, 2/9/16, an unknown person entered his unsecured 2004 gray Nissan Maxima Missouri tag# YJ1H4U, and removed his brown wallet which contained his personal information and several bank cards.
Traffic Selective Enforcement was conducted at the 900 block of W. Boynton Beach Blvd resulting in 11 citations.
16-07483 0800 hours Stolen Vehicle 652 South Road.
Victim stated that between 2130 and 0800 hours unknown suspects stole his 2008 Cadillac SRX SUV bearing Michigan Tag K9MOVER. The vehicle was unlocked and there was a hidden key in the console.
