18-006716 Burglary to Auto 324 SE 3rd Ave 1654 hours
Units responded to the above location in reference to a Burglary to Auto. Upon arrival victim advised unknown persons broke into her 2015 Silver Ford SUV and stole her Michael Kors handbag. Upon canceling her credit cards, multiple charges had already been made to them.
18-006779 Fleeing and Eluding Arrest 100 NW 10th Ave. 2345 hours
Officer Roedel witnessed b/m Joshua Rahming operating a Black BMW bearing FL tag 764QWZ driving at a high rate of speed west bound on NW 10th Ave. Roedel was unable to attempt a traffic stop on the vehicle due to his excessive speeds; but was able to disseminate the information to surrounding units. Officer Autiello observed the vehicle entering I-95 north from Boynton Beach Blvd. After catching up to the vehicle to affect a traffic stop; the vehicle, subsequently made an abrupt turn onto the Hypoluxo Rd off ramp. Unable to negotiate an east bound turn due to his excessive speeds; Rahming jumped the median, and crashed into the Cabot House fence. He subsequently fled from the vehicle but was apprehended a short distance from the crash site. Search incident to arrest yielded a small amount of marijuana. He was subsequently charged and tot PBCJ.
18-006604 Burglary (Cat Type) 2220 NW 1st St 0549hrs
Officers responded to a burglary where the victim and sole resident, reported that sometime between 0130 and 0530 hours on today’s date, an unknown suspect entered her residence while she was sleeping in her bed. Items that were taken were in a cloth pocket attached to the victim’s bed. There were no signs of forced entry and it is believed that the front door was accidentally unlocked. Crime scene responded to process the scene.
