16-006374 1804hrs Burglary to Residence 1400 Harvard LN
Contact was made with victim who advised sometime between 0730hrs and 1730hrs this date, someone pried open the sliding door of his residence and had taken items from within. He said as he entered his residence, he noticed that a jar of change he keeps on the kitchen countertop was missing. Upon further inspection of the residence, he found his HP Laptop and its power cord, along with a pair of earbud headphones missing from the upstairs bedroom and a drawer in the master bedroom had been ransacked. Nothing else was missing from the residence.
16-006374 2048hrs Throwing Deadly Missile into Occupied Vehicle 1500 N. Federal Hwy
Contact was made with victim, who stated she was traveling southbound on Federal Hwy from Gateway Blvd, in her 2007 Honda, Van, beige in color, bearing FL tag 593NQM. She heard a loud bang on her front window and realized it was cracked. She thought she might have hit something so, she parked her vehicle on the side of the road at which time a rock was thrown at her vehicle smashing the rear window it should be noted that on her front window there was white dust on the crack making it consistent with a rock being thrown at her vehicle. Due to this incident happening numerous times in the past Officers responded to the area where we thought the suspects were located. Upon arrival Officers walked the train tracks (2000 N Federal Hwy) where the suspects are throwing the rocks, however they were unable to locate any suspects.
16-006289 0943 hours Burglary Residence(Attempt) 7833 Manor Forest Lane
Victim stated that unknown subjects attempted to enter her residence between 1600 on the 1st and 2300 hours on the 2nd. The suspects attempted to pry the rear sliding glass door and then removed the screens from the rear window screens. No entry was made to the residence.
16-006295 1013 hours Burglary Residence 1402 Princeton Lane.
Officers responded to the residence and established that unknown suspects had pried the rear sliding glass door and then removed numerous items. PBSO made 2 arrests around 1400 and items were recovered from our scene. Detectives responded to the location to interview suspects and recover property.
16-006316 1220 hours Fleeing and Eluding 3000 High Ridge Road
Officers observed what appeared to be a violent altercation in a white Toyota pick-up truck. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver did not stop but maintained his speed as the altercation continued. At the intersection of W. Gateway Blvd. the vehicle accelerated, crashed into a fuel truck on top of the overpass and then collided into the wall on the southbound entrance ramp. Both subjects were detained, no parties reported any injuries. The investigation revealed the individuals were driving a stolen vehicle out of Lantana and the bed of the truck contained numerous items believed stolen property.
