15-005175 Possession of Marijuana 500 block of NW 9th Avenue
Officer J. Spence made contact with B/F Crystal Gill (11/15/1993), after having a well-founded concern for her welfare. Officer Spence established reasonable cause to search the subject vehicle after an odorous of burnt marijuana originated from therein. Officer Spence located 0.9 grams of marijuana in a Ziploc-style baggie on Gill’s person; resulting in Officer Spence arresting Gill. Gill was later released with a Notice to Appear.
15-005041 0450hrs Robbery (Armed) 4778 N. Congress Ave (Dunkin Donuts)
Around 5 a.m., a man armed with a black handgun entered the store at 4778 N. Congress Avenue and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect then forcibly took money from two customers who were inside the store. He fled on foot in an eastbound direction.
15-005047 0656hrs Burglary (Multiple Storage Units) 3000 S.Federal Hwy
Sometime between 1830hrs on 02/04/15 and this morning several storage units had their locks cut off. As of this writing only five fishing poles were taken from one of the units, no other items missing.
15-005062 1043hrs Burglary (Auto) 905 W. Woolbright Rd (Racetrac)
Victim left her purse on the passenger seat of her vehicle and went inside the store, leaving her vehicle unlocked and unsecured, while she paid for fuel. When she returned she was surprised to find her purse had been stolen from the unlocked, unsecured vehicle.
15-005082 1316hrs Theft (Motorcycle) 1660 Renaissance Commons Blvd.
Victim advised that unknown suspect(s) stole his black and orange 2008 Suzuki GSXR750 motorcycle, FL tag 1525LW, from the parking garage sometime between 0900hrs and 1300hrs today.
