20-7631 BB Blvd/Seacrest Shots Fired 1600 Hrs
Anonymous party advised of hearing two gunshots in the area. A thorough canvass did not yield any shell casings, injured persons, or signs of related property damage.
20- 7647 NW 12thAve Burglary-Res 1734 Hrs
Complainant advised that unknown suspect(s) entered the apartment and took two television sets (no serial #’s). No signs of forced entry were found, crime scene was declined, and prosecution was refused.
20-7675 2000 S Federal Hwy R/A-Crash 2339 Hrs
While officers were in the area for an unrelated call for service, an intoxicated adult male approached them yelling obscenities, threw a can of beer in their direction, and proceeded to attempt to incite a physical confrontation. The officers attempted to detain the male, who actively resisted. A Taser was deployed, but both probes did not fully connect. At this point the male turned and sprinted onto Federal Highway, where he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The male was transported to DMC as a Trauma Alert, and THI and CSI personnel were called out to investigate. The male is currently listed in stable condition.
20-7688 Ali Baba Disturbance/Threat 0155 Hrs
Officers were monitoring the night club Ali Baba when they were approached by the club’s private security about a disturbance that had occurred inside. A male had gotten into an altercation with security and upon being removed threatened to “shoot up the club.” Due to the time delay in their reporting this information, officers were unable to positively identify the subject or vehicle, as both had reportedly left the area.

Shots fired and persons downed call. All units responded and tactically cleared the business and then the parking lot. No injuries and no signs of a shooting were found. Approximately 250 belligerent and argumentative persons were removed from the premises. Security was uncooperative.
20-7530 NE 4th St Shooting 2019 Hrs
Residents returned home for the evening and found that a bullet had shattered their dining room window and lodged in an interior wall. No definitive timeframe, casings, cameras, or witnesses were observed. The home was unoccupied at the time of the shooting, and no injuries were reported.
20-7542 New Lake Dr Shots Fired 2119 Hrs
Multiple reports of shots fired were received from residents in several buildings in The Cove. Due to the echo, there were conflicting reports as to where the shooting originated, but officers did locate four shell casings in front of building 9. Several vehicles were stopped, one searched by K9, and several individuals were interviewed. After a thorough canvass, finding no injured persons or damage

Several calls of shots fired were received. Officers flooded the area for a canvass, interviewed several persons, but did not find shell casings or evidence of injured persons or damaged property.

Units responded to a vague call regarding possible gunshots in the area. Caller was extremely non-descriptive and uncooperative. No evidence of gunshots located in the area.

Unknown suspect(s) smashed victim’s window and rummaged through the vehicle.
20-007446 Motor Vehicle Theft (Attempt) Boynton Bay Ct. 1247hrs.
Victim left their vehicle unsecured with the window down overnight. Unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle and attempted to manipulate the ignition to start the vehicle, they were unsuccessful. Property was stolen from within the vehicle.

Unknown suspect(s) attempted to steal the decal from the victim’s license plate, tearing it in the attempt.
