15-3501 2119hrs 300 NE 14th Ave Shots Fired
While on patrol in the area of 1000 N. Seacrest Blvd officers heard approx 15 shots of gun fire coming from the area of the 100 to 300 block of N.E. 14th Ave to N.E. 16th Ave. Dispatch also received two calls from residents in the area. Units canvassed the area and did not locate any crime scene or any victims.
15-3447 1114hrs Robbery Attempt 100 Block of East MLK
Victims stated while they were sitting in their vehicle, a B/M approached from the rear driver’s side and pointed a silver hand gun towards them, demanding money. One of the victims told the suspect that they didn’t have any money. One of the victims friends (unknown) was walking towards them and the suspect got scared and ran towards NE 11th Ave through the grass field which is adjacent to Bride of Christ Tabernacle located at 202 NE 11th Ave. Nothing was taken during this incident.
15- 3368 17152hrs 1625 S. Federal Hwy Trespassing/Disorderly Intoxication
W/M Timothy Gilligan was in the business yelling and cursing disturbing the other customers. Gilligan was intoxicated (unable to stand straight or speak correctly). Officers made contact with the business manager who was explaining to Gilligan that he needed to leave the store. Gilligan refused by mumbling something and remaining by the register. Officers explained to him that he would be arrested if he did not leave. Gilligan stated he was not going to leave and clenched the counter with his left hand as officers attempted to escort him out. Gilligan held the counter tight when officers attempted to pull him away from the counter. Officers had to apply a takedown in order to gain custody at which point he was handcuffed and then began to comply. Gilligan was TOT PBCJ.
15-3401 2312hrs 2181 N. Seacrest Blvd Vandalism
Victim stated that her Silver Toyota FL tag DLS-Y49 had been vandalized. She heard a loud exploding noise coming from her front yard at approximately 2120 hours on today’s date. When she came out to her front yard to investigate the source of the noise, she noticed that the rear window of her vehicle had been shattered. she did not see who shattered her window.
15-3294 0636hrs Burglary Residence 301 SE 12th Ave #5
Sometime between 0400 and 0500hrs today, an unknown suspect entered the unoccupied unit without permission. Once inside, the suspect stuffed plastic garbage bags in the sinks and turned the water on, causing them to overflow and flood out the unit. Estimated damage $2,000.
15-3323 1141hrs Burglary Residence14 Crossing Cir.
Unknown person pried the door open, entered the home, but did not take anything.
15-3357 1613hrs Burglary Residence 402 NW 25th Ave
Sometime between 1220 and 1545hrs today, and unknown entered the front unlocked door and stole a Xbox game system w/2 controllers, games, tablet and a 42 inch flat screen television.
15-003174 1021 hrs Narcotics Arrest 501 SE 18th Ave.
Officer Villari arrested B/M, Gerald Belle, 05/18/64, for possession of one pill of Alprazolam without a prescription and retail theft. He is also a suspect in several retail thefts from Publix the past several months. TOT PBCJ.
15-003178 1048 hrs Stolen Auto 2815 S. Seacrest Blvd.
Unknown person stole a white 2006 Toyota Avalon with FL tag # CWPH29, between 0700 and 0900 hours.
15-003183 1112 hrs Burlgary Compund 451 NW 14th Ave. (Tower Site)
Unknown person cut a hole in the fence perimeter sometime between 01/22 and today’s date, removing copper from within the facility. Extra Patrol added.
15-003194 1248 hrs Failed to Stop 500 NE 3rd St.
Officers attempted to stop a black Ford Mustang for a traffic violation, but vehicle refused to stop. Vehicle last seen driving northbound on I-95 from Gateway Blvd. Driver described as a B/M with a bald head.
