Units responded to a shooting at the aforementioned location involving an Uber driver operating a White in color Toyota Corolla. Upon arrival, units met with the victim; who stated, she was driving by the above location when unk. suspect(s) fired a projectile that went through the driver side door – striking the transmission hump. She felt something hit her right shin. Upon rolling up her pant leg, she discovered a tiny skin defect. BBFD responded but no medial attention was needed. Both Detective Bureau and Crime Scene responded.

Elderly female appears to have had a medical episode while driving eastbound on Gateway Blvd. She crossed into the westbound lanes and then jumped the curb and crashed into multiple trees and bushes. Transported to DMC where it she is listed as stable and should survive.
