15-013204 Disorderly Conduct 5105 Mahogany Drive
Officer H. Picciano arrested W/M Matthew Hyde (29 YOA), after a thorough investigation revealed that Hyde was engaging in conduct constituting a breach of the peace. Hyde was charged accordingly and was subsequently released with a Notice to Appear.
15-013247 Shots Fired/Suspicious Incident 200 block of NE 13th Avenue
Officers responded to the aforesaid location to a report of shots fired; however, after a canvas of the area and check of the local medical facilities – the incident was reclassified to a suspicious incident until such time additional information can be gleaned.
15-013122 Agg. Battery 905 W. Woolbright Rd. (RaceTrac)0439hrs
Officers responded to above address in ref. a disturbance. As Sgt. Roper arrived in the area he observed a small red vehicle leaving the area and a B/F pointing at the vehicle franticly. Sgt. Roper attempted to stop the vehicle which began to flee. Sgt. Roper discontinued his efforts due to the vehicle refusing to stop. Officers spoke to the victim who had a large baseball size hematoma above her left eye. Victim stated that the suspect threw her to the ground over an argument. Charges are being filed.
15-013132 Cat Burglary/ GTA Citrus Park Cir. 0856hrs
Officers responded to above address in ref. a cat burglary. Unknown persons entered the residence as the victim’s slept and took 3 bottles of liquor out of the liquor cabinet and the keys to the 2007 Sliver Infiniti FL. Tag M828TT. The unknown suspects then stole the infinity. Vehicle entered into NCIC as stolen. Crime scene was positive.
15-013138 Burglary Residence Asbury Way 0941hrs
Officers responded to above address in ref. a burglary. Unknown suspect(s) entered the open garage and took a Makita buffing machine. Total loss $280.
15-013066 Burglary Res Force Entry SW 26th Avenue1747 hours
Victim advised he left his residence at 0900 hours and returned at 17:30 hours to find unknown individuals entered the residence and absconded with assorted watches, computer, jewelry, and personal items. The outside screen to the porch was sliced open and a window on the northeast side of the residence smashed. Crime Scene responded to this location.
15-013078 Burglary to Auto 640 SE 2nd Ave 19:23 hours
Victim advised she found that her Silver, 2013 Hyundai, SUV bearing PA registration JHH0147 had been rummaged through by unknown person(s) sometime between 03/27/2015 20:00:00 and 03/28/2015 14:00:00. The vehicle doors were left unlocked and no signs of forced entry. (Previous reports in the area were taken by the off going dayshift – BBPD 15-012977 (640 SE 2nd Ave #212), BBPD case 15-012978( 610 SE 2nd Ave #102), and BBPD case 15-012979(610 SE 2nd Ave #101).
15-013097 THROW DEADLY MISSILE/OCCUPIED DWELLING NW 7th Ct 22:25 hours
BBPD units responded to 217 NW 7th Ct. in reference to a suspicious incident. Victim advised he heard several loud bangs; a short time later he noticed two large holes in the upper portion of his front bedroom window. The victim then advised he observed a silver Dodge Avenger in the roadway at which time he saw “fire” (street terminology for the discharging of a firearm). Victim was unable to obtain the license plate information of the vehicle. BBPD units located a bullet hole in the wall between unit 215 and 217. No one was injured during the incident.
15-012974 0733hrs Burglary Auto Quantum Lake Drive
Sometime between 0400hrs and 0737hrs today, an unknown suspect forcibly entered the victim’s front passenger side door and stole a Glock 22 40cal gun and two fully loaded magazines from the middle console. Crime scene was positive. The gun was entered into NC/FCIC as stolen.
15-012981 0859hrs Stolen Auto 610 SE 2nd Ave
Sometime between 03-27-15 at 1600hra and today at 0858hrs, unknown suspect entered the vehicle, removed the spare key from the glove box and stole the vehicle. Vehicle was entered into FC/NCIC as stolen. Blue Ford Focus LX.
15-012854 Suspicous Person 3701 S. Federal Hwy. 16:36 hours
K-9 Officer Sohn and Officer Esteves responded to the above address in reference to a suspicious person. K-9 Officer Sohn was able to identify the individual as the same subject involved in a retail theft case on 3/23/2015 at Walmart (BBPD case 15-011969). The suspect was identified as Zane Cyrus Yazdani and was subsequently arrested for that retail theft along with the following charges: Possession of Heroin, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Yazdani was TOT to PBCJ without incident.
15-012944 Suspicous Person 2821 S. Federal Hwy. 01:32 hours
While on routine patrol, Officer H. Picciano and Officer Esteves made contact with two subjects in the area of 2821 S. Federal Hwy. One of the subjects later identified as Harper, Christian, startled by the officer’s approach threw a clear plastic bag containing suspect contraband onto the ground. During further contact with Harper, a records check revealed an active warrant out of Palm Beach County. Harper was arrested for failure to appear and possession of marijuana.
15-012757 0542hrs Theft of Service (Fare Evasion) 2800 High Ridge Rd (Tri Rail)
Deux Mehu was on the Tri Rail traveling northbound when security asked for his boarding ticket. Unable to provide one, he was removed from the train. Computer check revealed that Mehu had been previously trespassed but never arrested. Mehu was arrested and issued an NTA.
15-012760 0914hrs Warrant 2861 S. Seacrest Blvd
Contact was made with Andrew Kury who was arrested after a computer checked revealed that he had an active warrant out of PBSO.
