16-013550 1937hrs Stolen Auto 2631 SW 4th St
Contact was made with victim who stated that he parked his silver 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck bearing FL Tag PA9WP in the driveway. The victim stated that he then traveled out of town on March 4, 2016 at approximately 1000 hours and upon returning on March 8, 2016 at approximately 1930 hours he observed his vehicle missing. The vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
16-013551 1943hrs Burglary to residence (In Progress) SW 13th Place
Units responded to 2108 SW 13th Pl. in reference to a burglary in progress. Dispatch advised the victim had come home and interrupted the burglary and was following two possible suspects east on SW 23rd Ave. Officer McCaffrey located the victim, at Campanelli Blvd. and SW 23rd Ave. She was pointing in the direction of SW 10th St. and yelled to him “They went down that way.” Units began setting up a perimeter in the area and Officer Adams & K9 Duke responded. Officer Adams & K9 Duke conducted a track for the suspects however it yielded negative results. The victim advised that she was missing several jewelry items from the top drawer of her dresser in her master bedroom. She estimated approximately $10,000. She also advised that her purse was missing. Suspects were W/M medium build. Nothing
16-013597 2310hrs Failed to Stop 400 NW 2nd St
Officer Herny was on patrol in the 200 block of East Boynton Beach Boulevard; when he observed a black Lexus four-door, bearing Florida Registration EGPC22, commit a traffic violation. Officer Herny attempted to conduct a traffic stop as the Lexus was turning onto NW 2nd Street. The Lexus accelerated and turned down NW 3rd Court, eventually heading back west onto West Boynton Beach Boulevard, failing to yield. Due to the offence being traffic related only, Officer Herny terminated any efforts in stopping the Lexus. Dispatch sent the proper jurisdictional agency to the registered owners address, however at this time it yielded negative results.
16-013418 0632 hours Stolen Auto 320 NE 15th Ave.
Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle determined the it was an unreported stolen vehicle. The victim was located and was unaware his vehicle had been taken from his residence on Murano Bay Drive. The victim reported parking his vehicle at his residence around 2000. Officers determined that the suspects stole the vehicle using a spare key in the glove compartment. The victim stated there was extensive damage to the vehicle, estimated at $5,500. A glove belonging to the suspects was recovered and placed into evidence.
16-013420 0700 hours Burglary Business 103 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. (Express Food)
Victim stated that someone entered the business between 2330 and 0700 hours and removed $1,700 in US currency from a cabinet. It appears the business was not properly secured at closing. The manager was unfamiliar with the surveillance system and video could not be retrieved.
16-013443 1000 hours Burglary Structure 429 Royal Manor Blvd.
Victim stated that someone attempted to burglarize his recreational vehicle sometime during the night. It did not appear the suspects were able to make entry although the the damage was significant.
