16026386 1847 hours Fleeing and Eluding 100 NE 19th Ave
PTO unit Daley and J. Rivera initiated a traffic stop on a 2015, Chevy, Impala, FL tag #922XQX (Hertz Rental) for window tint violation. As officers approached the vehicle, the passenger and driver switched seats and the vehicle sped away. Officers discontinued their efforts when the vehicle entered north on I-95.
16026407 2024 hours Battery on LEO / Resisting with Violence 2160 N Seacrest Blvd
OFC Brown and OFC Esteves were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. While attempting to speak with both parties, Suspect b/m Pervis Engram dob 05/20/1988, became enraged and spit in OFC Brown’s face. While attempting to take him into custody, Engram violently resisted officer’s efforts and was able to strike both officers multiple times with fists and kicks during the violent encounter. Officers utilized defensive force and a Taser to stop Engram’s resistance and take him into custody. He was medically cleared, processed, and later lodged at PBCJ. Use of Force (X2) completed. 16026419 2238 hours Overdose (Non-fatal) Race Trac / 905 W Woolbright Officers responded in reference to w/m unconscious with agonal breathing. Officers and EMS provided life saving techniques and were able to revive him. He was transported to Bethesda for further treatment.
16-26252 0531 hours Burglary Construction Site 2900 High Ridge Rd. Officer Rodriguez located W/M, Thomas Gajda, 06/10/78, after he was reported walking in the roadway, with a metal pipe in his hand, attempting to flag down vehicles for a ride. Further investigation revealed Gajda had entered a construction site nearby and stole several pieces of construction equipment. At some point, Gajda discovered his vehicle was stuck in the sand nearby and he could not leave. Gajda was charged accordingly and TOT PBCJ.
16-26265 0812 hours Burglary Auto 606 Asbury Way Victim reported unknown person entered his vehicle and ransacked its contents, taking a Disabled Vet lanyard with community gate key card and $3.00 in change. Incident occurred sometime between 05/03 at 0630 and today’s date.
16-26332 1258 hours Narcotics/Firearm Arrest 500 NE 1st St. Officer Harris stopped B/M, Henryck Presendieu, 08/28/94 ,for a traffic violation. Sergeant Cannon responded as backup and detected the scent of marijuana coming from within. Further investigation revealed Presendieu was in possession of heroin and cocaine. Additionally, a firearm was located concealed in a purse behind the driver’s seat. Investigation on-going at time of writing. Presendieu will be charged accordingly and TOT PBCJ.
