16-030266 1546hrs Burglary to Structure 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd (Ezell Hester Center)
Witness observed 5-6 B/M/J’s climbing out of a window of the Press Box room at Ezell Hester. The witness advised the windows appeared to be broken. The witness began to run toward the suspects, at which time they noticed her, grabbed their backpacks and fled east towards Seacrest. Witness advised she could not see what the suspects had inside their backpacks, but stated they dropped a football jersey and a broken wooden part of a trophy, when they fled. These items were returned to Ezell Hester Recreational Supervisor, Todd Johnson. The Witness described the suspects as juveniles approximately 13-16 yoa, some were shirtless and some wore football jerseys, but could not remember hairstyles, and advised one subject was extremely tall and she believed he could be older. Investigation revealed several possible blood drops at the crime scene, which were recovered by CSI Jean for processing. No other suspect information at this time.
16-030269 1609hrs Near Drowning 345 SW 13th Ave
A 2-year-old boy was playing hide and go seek in the house around 4 p.m. when an older child went outside and did not close the sliding glass door. The toddler went outside and wandered into the pool. He was quickly pulled out by other family members and began coughing and crying. He was taken to Bethesda hospital and is expected to be OK.
16-030301 1838hrs Aggravated Assault 101 N. Federal Hwy (Ocean Food Mart)
Officers responded in reference to a disturbance where W/M Tidridge, Patrick (04/17/77) was harassing customers and would not leave the store. Investigation revealed that while Tidridge was in the store he picked up a 12 can box of Seagram and threw it at the cashier also almost striking two customers. Tidridge was placed under arrest and TOT PBCJ.
16-030302 1912hrs Overdose (Non-Fatal) E. Ocean Ave
Contact was made with W/Ma who discovered his friend, identified as W/M unconscious lying on the bathroom floor. BBFR responded to the scene and was able to revive him and transport him to the hospital for further medical treatment.
16-030343 2322hrs Traffic Accident/DUI N. Congress Ave and Redford Dr
Officers responded to the scene for an accident and investigation revealed that the driver W/F Weiss, Amy DOB 08-17-63 of the Hyundai Santa Fa was operating a motor vehicle under the suspicion of a controlled substance. Weiss was placed under arrest and TOT PBCJ.
16-030349 0117hrs Failed to Stop 500 W. Gateway Blvd
Officer Adams attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a white Kia however the vehicle failed to stop entered I-95 and traveled north. Officer Adams terminated all efforts to stop the vehicle. No suspect information obtained.
16030102 1446 hours Recovered Vehicle (Carjacking) 401 W Boynton Beach Blvd
Officers responded in reference to a 2008, Lexus, silver in color having crashed into a palm tree. Witnesses advised that three (3) black males were observed running from the vehicle. Upon arrival, investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of PBSO (#16078082) during a carjacking. Officers could observe ammunition in the vehicle and witnesses were able to confirm that one of the males that were seen exiting matched to the exact description of the subject wanted out of PBSO. BBPD officers secured the crime scene vehicle and PBSO took possession for processing. A canvas of the area for the suspects yielded negative results.
16030114 1631 hours Burglary Public Storage / 3400 S Congress Ave
Victim reported that between 05/21 and this date; unknown person(s) burglarized their 6×8 storage trailer in which they keep at the above location. The suspects gained entry by cutting the lock to the door and removed over $2,500 in tools and electronic devices, which are used in the victim’s hobby of remote control airplanes. The trailer was full of remote controlled airplanes which were not touched.
16-30037 0402 hours Burglary Residence, Occupied 620 Horizons West #111
Victim advised an unknown person entered his residence between 0100 hours and 0330 hours while he was asleep. Upon waking, he found that the person cut the screen of his front weather door to reach in and unlock it. The main door was purposely left open by the victim. $120.00 was missing from a wallet within the residence.
16-30051 0755 hours Burglary Residence 815 SW 3rd Ave.
W/M, William Curd, 06/17/87, was arrested after investigation revealed he backed a black 2006 Chevy Cobalt (NY tag # GSJ5194) into the carport and broke a window to gain entry. Subject then stole $600.00 worth of dishware from the residence. Subject was apprehended when a subject with him, waiting in the vehicle, advised of Curd’s involvement and told officer’s where Curd and the vehicle were at. Unknown person walked into the attached patio of the residence and stole an assortment of rods and reels valued at $1600.00 between 1430 hours yesterday and 1100 hours today.
16-29840 0812 hrs Burglary, Occupied Residence 1601 NW 1st Ct.
Victim reported unknown person entered their residence while they were asleep between 2300 hours last night and 0730 hours this morning, by opening an unsecured window at the front of the residence. Subject reached through the window and took a laptop bag with laptop and a few personal items.
16-29846 0846 hrs Burglary, Occupied Residence 836 NW 9th Way.
Victim fell asleep with front door unsecured between 2000 hours last night and 0100 hours this morning. Upon waking, she discovered that a key to her vehicle was missing from her purse and her blue 2011 Lexus IS250 C (FL tag # DJFK35) was missing from her driveway. Vehicle entered FCIC/NCIC.

Officers and EMS responded in reference to a 24 year old male (NOI) unconscious and barely breathing due to heroin ingestion. Lifesaving techniques were performed and the male regained consciousness. He was transported to Bethesda for further treatment.

Unknown person entered the residence between 0900 and 1130 hours by prying open the front door and stole two televisions from within.

Burglary to residence involving the theft of a safe from within. Investigation on-going.
16-029552 1944hrs Possession of Narcotics 1300 Old Boynton Rd
While conducting a selective enforcement in the 1300 block of Old Boynton Rd Officer H. Picciano conducted a traffic stop on a silver Toyota and upon approaching the vehicle she immediately recognized the strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Investigation revealed that the driver B/M Panel Eugene was in possession of marijuana. Panel was placed under arrest and released with an N.T.A.
16-029581 2218hrs Suspicious Incident (Shots Fired) 300 SW 13th Ave
Units responded to the area for possible shots fired, upon arriving to the area Officer Castro located 5 spent shell casings in the roadway. A check of the surrounding buildings was conducted for any bullet holes and a check for any victims or witnesses was conducted in the surrounding area which all yielded negative results. No further information was obtained in reference to this incident.
