Unknown individual(s) gained entry into the victim’s unlocked White 2011 Ford E250 van FL tag ERRI54 sometime during the night. A black wallet was taken from the vehicle containing a $3,000 dollar check, DL, credit/debit cards.
17-066918 Shooting 1300 SW 35th Avenue 19:33 hours
BBPD responded to Caloosa Park to a shots fired call. Officers observed approximately 50 people dispersing from one of the basketball courts where an unidentified male had been shot. The victim was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
17-066941 R/O w/o Vio 1000 n Seacrest 00:24 hours
B/M Malvin Hall was arrested for Resisting Arrest w/o Violence, COV in park after dusk. Hall failed to obey verbal commands as he ran from BBPD units. Hall was tased and then taken into custody. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital for medical clearance prior to being tot to PBCJ. SIR in progress.
17-066739 2323 hours Strongarm Robbery 208 E. Gateway Blvd. Officers responded to the above location in reference to a strongarm robbery. Upon arrival they met with the victim who stated an unk. b/m suspect dressed in all black had snatched $20 from his hand and fled the area. Units searched the area but met with negative results in locating the suspect.

Officers attempted a traffic stop upon a 2017 white Chevrolet Camaro bearing FL tag: HLMF92. The stop was abandoned as the vehicle did not yield.

Victim advised unknown subjects entered her unsecured residence sometime between the hours of 07:00 hours and 16:10 hours through the back sliding glass doors. A gray Acer lap top, a black Hp laptop, and a black hand purse containing credit cards and a green card were taken.
17-066441 Susp Inc Shots Fired 2320 NW 2nd St 19:02 hours
Victim advised he saw an unknown black 4 door vehicle park in the front of his drive way at which time a B/M got out of the vehicle and walked through his back yard and into the back yard of 2351 NW 1st Street. As the victim was talking to someone he heard 2-3 shots in the area but did not identify the source of the shots or was able to confirm whether they were related to the B/M that had walked through his yard.
17-066468 Susp Inc Shots Fired 428 NE 14th Ave 21:42 hours
Caller advised 4-5 shots were heard in the area. A light colored four door vehicle drove away from the area at a high rate of speed after residents heard the shots. Officers canvassed the area with negative results.
17-066475 Burg Res Delayed 3589 S. Federal Hwy 21:44 hours
Victim advised sometime between 09:00 hours and 17:30 hours unknown subjects entered her apartment. The victim’s custom pink golf clubs were taken.
17-066472 Agg Assault Fiream N. Seacrest Blvd and W. Gateway 21:55 hours
BBPD units responded to the 2100 block of N Seacrest Blvd for possible shots fired. Officers were unable to locate any victims or evidence in the immediate area. 20 minutes later our communications was contacted by a woman who advised her vehicle was shot at in the area of Gateway Blvd. and Seacrest Blvd. Several round struck the vehicle.
17-066204 1841 hours Auto Burglary 510 Northeast 3rd Street
Officers responded to an in progress auto burglary to which the defendant, Sylvester Thomas, fled prior to our arrival. Sylvester was located behind 501 Northeast 3rd Street and held down by a witness. Officers were made aware of this and arrested Sylvester who was processed and turned over to the PBCJ.
17-066218 2002 hours Robbery Attempt 801 North Congress Avenue
Suspect entered the business and attempted to return a pair of shoes. Due to the suspect not having the receipt the victim advised the suspect he could not complete the return. The suspect became enraged, walked behind the counter and battered the victim, ultimately knocking the victim to the ground, while he attempted gain access to the cash register. After several failed attempts to open the cash register the suspect fled and exited the mall entering a silver four door sedan. Suspect was described to be a black male with short hair, approximately 6’02” and 200 lbs.
