Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to a one hour delayed carjacking. Upon arrival, they met with the victim who stated two black male suspects had stolen his 2007 Silver Chevy Cobalt bearing Fl. Tag BGP S22. Victim advised him and a friend arrived at the meadows park bathroom to “smoke narcotics” but instead they were carjacked at gunpoint.
18-057392 1800 hours Stolen Vehicle 120 Buttonwood Ln.
Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival they met with the victim who stated unknown person(s) had stolen her 2015 Silver Kia Optima bearing FL. Tag IF69LU sometime overnight.
Units conducted extended extra patrols at Alibaba Café due to recent fights at closing.
18-057366 Burglary Auto 2882 Quantum Lakes Drive
Officers responded to 2882 Quantum Lakes Drive in reference to a delayed burglary to auto. Officer made contact with the victim and learned that his blue 2016 VW Tiguan, FL tag INMQ35 was burglarized at approximately 2300 hours. The investigation revealed that the front passenger window was shattered, however nothing appeared to be taken from the vehicle.
18-057377 1454 hours Burglary Auto 1690 Renaissance Commons Blvd
Officer responded to 1690 Renaissance Commons Boulevard in reference to a delayed auto burglary. During the investigation, it was determined that on 11-03-18, between 2000 hours and midnight, the victim 2018 Toyota Corolla Florida tag JHB-Z05 was burglarized and a Lenovo laptop and a yellow bag was stolen.
18-057204 1712 hours Armed Robbery Attempt 195 SE 27th Way.
Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival, the victim advised while selling ice cream in the neighborhood he was approached by a b/m suspect. The suspect brandished a gray in color firearm and demanded the victim’s money at which time other bystanders told the suspect to “get out of here”. The suspect fled the area on foot. The b/m was wearing a gray tank top, with red boxers exposed, khaki shorts hanging down below his bottom, and white and black sneakers. N.O.I.
18-057249 2258 hours Overdose Fatal 1120 S. Seacrest Blvd.
Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to an overdose. Upon arrival they located the decedent expired on the living room floor. Both Crime Scene and D-Bureau responded.

Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to a delayed stolen auto. Victim advised he left his 2009 Tan Nissan Altima bearing FL. Tag Y23 KNH running; parked alongside his residence. When he returned to his vehicle it was gone.

Units responded to the aforementioned address in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, multiple persons in the area stated they hadn’t heard any gunshots.
18-057014 1933 hours Sale of Contraband Arrest 1919 N. Seacrest Blvd.
Members of the CRT unit were conducting UC surveillance on b/m Levert Edwards 12/3/81 when he conducted several hand to hand drug transactions. Upon arrest, he had 42.1 grams of marijuana on his person. He was subsequently charged accordingly and tot PBCJ. It is suspected Edwards called in the aforementioned shots fired call to create a diversion so PD would vacate the area.
Members of B1/B2 conducted security for Mayor Andrew Gillum who had a campaign rally at the Ezell Hester center.
18-56862 Stolen Vehicle/Attempt 3157 Quantum Lakes Dr. 0656 hours
Overnight unknown suspect entered their unlocked 2011 Nissan Versa rummaged through the vehicle. They also damaged the ignition in what appeared to be an attempt to steal the vehicle.
18-56879 Burglary Auto 1475 W. Gateway Blvd. Hampton Inn 0730 hours
Overnight to a 2003 Ford F250. Driver door lock removed. $350.00 worth of property removed from the vehicle.
18-56880 Burglary Auto 3563 S. Federal Hwy. 0734 hours
Overnight to a 2012 Hyundai. Driver’s door lock was pushed in to gain access to the vehicle. Wallet removed from purse that was inside the vehicle as well as a cell phone.
18-56898 Burglary Fenced Compound 235 SW 6th Ave. 0802 hours
Overnight to a construction site. Fence was pulled down to gain access to the site. A generator and misc. tools were taken from the site.
