Officers responded to a disturbance at the above address. The officers came across an irate female who decided to bang on the hood a police vehicle multiple times with an open hand. The officers arrested the female who resisted arrest by scratching the officers arms and face.
19-058934 Burglary to Auto W. Woolbright Rd 0004 hours
Officers responded to vehicle burglary that occurred at the Racetrack gas station. The officers made contact with the victim who stated that unknown persons stole a batch of cigarettes from his delivery trucks. The victim said the batch was valued at more than $4,800 dollars.

Officers responded to the report of shots fired at the above address. The caller told BBPD dispatchers that he heard the sounds of gunshots in the proximity of his apartment building. Officers checked the building and area close to the building for evidence of a shooting. The officers did not find any victims or other physical evidence of a shooting. Area hospitals were checked and were advised to contact BBPD if any possible victims were to come in for treatment.

Officers were sent to the above location after a caller reported the sound of gunfire. The caller said they heard 4 to 5 gunshots in the area. The officers canvassed the area in search of victims and other evidence of a shooting. Officers did not locate any signs of a shooting. Surrounding hospitals were notified.

19-058583 Retail Theft 1901 N. Congress Ave 1713 hours
Officers responded to Kohl’s to investigate a shoplifting allegation. Officers made contact with a store employee who provided information related to a retail theft which included video of the incident. The store employee said the suspect, a heavy set white male, approximately 6’00, 220 lbs, wearing a gray jacket and a tan hat, was able to flee the store with more than $300 worth of unpaid merchandise. Officers checked the area for the suspect without success.
19-058597 THI Serious Injuries 2111 NE 4th St 1913 hours
Officers were dispatched to a vehicle crash at the above address. The officers came across a severely injured male at the accident scene. The officers learned that the injured male was riding an unregistered ATV when he collided with a blue Hyundai Santa Fe. The injured male was declared a trauma alert by BBPD paramedics. THI and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate.

Officers responded to a burglary to the above address. The officers met the residence who stated that unknown persons entered her home while she was away and stole more than $700 worth of electronics.
19-058655 DUI –Arrest 3001 N. Seacrest Blvd 0300 hours
Officers on patrol came across a black Nissan that was stopped in the roadway. The officers noticed that the Nissan was occupied by a female who was asleep behind the wheel. After determining that the female was not in medical distress, Traffic Officer Castro conducted a DUI investigation which led to the arrest of the female driver. The driver was taken to the PBCJ BAT for additional processing.

Victim was outside the business utilizing his cell phone when he was approached by an unknown B/M. The male asked the victim if he could use his Iphone to make a phone call. While the suspect was in the middle of the call, he proceeded to flee on foot northbound with the victim’s phone.
