Officers responded to the above address in reference to a shots fired call. Upon arrival they were unable to locate any evidence or witnesses to substantiate the allegation. The caller wished to remain anonymous.
17-061937 2356 hours Possession of Concealed Firearm 300 N. Congress Ave.
Officer Castro and Officer Pires conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Buick LeSabre; a records check revealed the vehicle was not registered. Further investigation revealed the driver b/m Rodney Achille’s license to be suspended. Search incident to arrest yielded a Black Ruger SR40 inside the vehicle in plain view. Achille’s was charged with CCF and cited for the DWLS. He was processed and tot PBCJ.
17-061960 0243 hours Residential Fire 14 Crossing Circle #F.
The entire B1/2 shift responded to a residential fire inside the Crossings development at the aforementioned location. Upon arrival the townhome was fully engulfed. Officers assisted BBFD in evacuating multiple residents from the endangered area to safety. Two persons were transported to Bethesda with non-life threatening injuries and 10 persons were displaced from the homes. BBFD was able to contain the fire after several minutes. Red Cross responded in reference to the displaced residents.
