17-054003 2149 hours Fleeing & Eluding 300 NW 10th Ave.
Sgt Jean attempted to stop a black 2010 Mazda CX7 bearing FL CGHT28 which was reported stolen out of Delray Beach. The vehicle failed to stop and proceeded southbound on NW 4th St towards W Boynton Beach Blvd. The pursuit was terminated and the vehicle was last seen entering I-95. Surrounding agencies notified.
The platoon responded to 1 non-fatal overdose during the course of the shift.
Officers monitored the I-95 overpasses at Boynton Beach Blvd and W Woolbright Rd in reference to maintaining generators for the traffic lights.

2004 gold Subaru Forester with CO tag # RQL783 reported stolen sometime between 09/06/17 and today’s date.
17-53868 0736 hrs Burglary Auto x 3 620 NW 10th Ct.
Unknown person burglarized three vehicles parked in the driveway between 09/16 at 2300 and 0600 this morning.
17-53872 0835 hrs Theft – B.B.P.D gas can 500 W. Woolbright Rd.
Unknown person stole one gas can from the Woolbright Rd. overpass that was being utilized for generator refill.
17-53879 0941 hrs Burglary Auto 1022 NW 6th Ave.
Unknown person burglarized a vehicle between 09/16 at 2000 and 0400 this morning.
17-53891 1056 hrs Burglary Auto 580 NW 9th Ct.
Unknown person burglarized a vehicle between 09/16 at 2200 and 0900 this morning.
Traffic Lights: Boynton Beach Blvd. and Woolbright Rd. overpasses are still on generator. Stop signs are in place at the intersections of Woolbright/Federal, Gulfstream/Federal, and SE 23rd/Seacrest. County Streets was notified previous day that FPL allegedly restored power to the overpasses and Woolbright/Federal intersection, however; they need to reset the breakers at each.

17-053747 1603 hours Burglary Auto 425 NW 12th Ave.
Victim reported that between 1330 And 1345 hours unknown suspects entered his unlocked vehicle while he was delivering pizzas and removed a cell phone valued at $200.
17-053753 1611 hours Burglary Residence 431 SW 1st Ave.
Victim reported that within the last 48 hours unknown suspects entered his residence by unknown means and removed numerous items. The residence had recently been vacated because of a fire.
17-053751 1702 hours Arson 100 NE 10th Ave (Family Dollar).
An unidentified black male juvenile lit several brooms on fire in the area near the restroom. The suspect was described as 5’8”, thing build, long hair, and wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts.
17-053770 1847 hours Accidental Injury 2882 SE 2nd St.
BBPD was contacted by Delray Medical Center in regards to a patient who arrived with a gunshot wound. Officers made contact with B/M Michael Basil who initially advised officers that unknown suspects shot him. Crime Scene and D-Bureau responded. After further investigation, it was determined that Basil had accidentally shot himself in his right arm while handling his friends firearm at Betty Thomas Park.
17-053814 2304 hours Shots Fired 400 NW 13th Ave.
Officers responded to 400 NW 13th Ave to reports of shots fired. It should be noted there was a block party of approximately 300 people in the area. Officers were able to clear the block party without incident. Numerous shell casings were located in the roadway. Crime scene responded and processed the scene. There were no reported victims.
17-053818 2327 hours Drunk Driver S Seacrest Blvd & Woolbright Road.
Ofc Cardenas arrested H/M Nicolas Pereira after investigation revealed he was driving while impaired. Pereira was arrested for DUI and later TOT PBCJ.
The platoon responded to 1 non-fatal overdose during the course of the shift.

17-053673 0714 hours Stolen Auto 2843 S Evergreen Circle
Victim reported that between 2330 hours on September 15th and 0700 hours unknown person(s) stole his white 2009 GMC Canyon pickup truck bearing FL tag Y79ZHU from his driveway. The truck was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
17-053687 0848 hours Stolen Auto 3701 Quantum Boulevard
Victim reported that between 2030 hours on September 15th and 0830 hours this date unknown person(s) stole her gray 2003 Audi A4 bearing FL tag INNH77. The car was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
Traffic Lights: Officers on a rotational basis monitored the traffic lights and the following intersections: Boynton Beach Blvd & I95; Woolbright Road & I95; Hypoluxo Road & Congress. The only problem area was BBB & I95 as the generator was giving problems all day. At 1500 hours County Engineering came out and replaced the generators. Subsequent shifts should monitor the generators and not let them run dry and top them off while they’re running. FPL advised that they have a crew enroute to restore power to these intersections (Unknown ETA).

17-053582 1630 hours Domestic Battery 801 N. Congress Ave (Mall).
Tanisha Frazier was arrested for Simple Battery after investigation revealed she confronted the victim and punched the victim several times. TOT PBCJ.
17-053239 1921 hours Failed to Stop 400 NE 10th Ave.
Officers attempted to stop a gray in color newer model Cadillac. The vehicle accelerated and the officers discontinued the pursuit. No tag information was obtained.
17-053641 2304 hours Simple Battery 1331 S. Federal Hwy.
Richard Morgan was arrested after he battered the victim during a verbal dispute. TOT PBCJ.
17-053651 0218 hours Burglary Business 2005 S Federal Hwy. (Driftwood)
Officers responded to the above business in reference to an alarm activation. Officers arrived on scene and located the front glass door smashed. Officers cleared the business and discovered the cash register open. There were no reps available to respond so it is unknown if there was cash in the register. Officers processed the scene and secured the business.
The platoon responded to 2 non-fatal overdoses and 2 major accidents during the course of the shift.
Officers monitored Hypoluxo Road & N Congress Ave and the I-95 overpasses in reference to maintaining generators for the traffic lights.

Victim reported that between 0200 hours and 0400 hours unknown person(s) entered his unlocked black 2010 Nissan Altima bearing FL tag 104WUX. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole a loaded Glock 9 mm magazine ($50) and some miscellaneous CD’s ($30).
17-053506 0821 hours Burglary (Residence) 216 NE 1st Street
Victim reported that between 0300 hours and 0800 hours this date unknown person(s) entered the residence via unknown means (no visible signs of forced entry). Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole a Proscan 32” flat screen TV ($300).
17-053508 0845 hours Robbery (Strong-Arm) 650 N Congress Avenue
Victim reported that while walking in the parking lot of Target, a black male approached her and grabbed her Coach purse. A struggle ensued and the victim was dragged a few feet. The male then got into a gray 2015 Lexus IS250 bearing FL tag BECZ02 which was reported stolen out of Broward County. The black male was described as in his late teen early 20’s; approximately 5’8” thin build wearing a red shirt. A witness to the incident was able to capture a photo of the car on their cell phone.
