18-048650 DWLS – Batt. L.E.O 1300 Old Boynton Rd 2349 hours
Officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle operated by Shayla Williams. As a result, Williams was placed under arrest for felony DWLS Habitual. Williams resisted the officers as she was being taken into custody. Williams dug her nails into Ofc Esteves’ left arm causing some abrasions to the officer’s arm. Officer Esteves was treated at BMH for his injuries. Williams was processed at BBPD, medically cleared at BMH, and turned over to the PBCJ.
