5045512 1822 hours Auto Burglary (Delayed) Baytree Circle
Victim advised that between 1800 hours (09/23/2015) and 0630 hours (09/24/2015) unknown person(s) burglarized their 1998 Toyota Camry by entering through an unlocked door and removing the victim’s wallet. A proper crime scene was conducted by OFC Passaro; however, no further evidence could be located. Total loss is estimated at $55.00.

15045530 2009 hours Warrant Arrest 300 NE 3rd St.
OFC Webster conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation and made contact with the driver, identified as b/m Jerry Johnson dob 08/06/1965. A records check yielded an outstanding warrant out of PBSO for Failure to Appear. Johnson was arrested and later lodged at Palm Beach County Jail.

15045561 2130 hours Burglary (Auto) 2290 N Congress Ave./ LA Fitness
Victim advised that between 1920 hours and 2020 hours unknown person(s) burglarized their 2004 Pontiac Grand Am by entering through an unlocked door and removing the victim’s wallet. A proper crime scene was conducted by OFC Holloway: however, no further evidence could be located. Total loss is estimated at $8.00.

15045576 2307 hours Burglary (Residence) E Palm Dr
Victim left the residence at 1900 hours and upon returning at 2300 hours found that the front door was now unsecured. Upon entering, it was observed that the kitchen window had been smashed in. Victim checked the residence and reported that a Play Station Vita, valued at $400.00 was missing. A proper crime was conducted by OFC Medeiros; however, no further evidence could be located.

Officers responded to the area of NW 7th Court in reference to a shot fired across the street from the residence. The area and local hospitals were checked with negative results.

15-46018 2125 Hours Loitering/Prowling Arrest NE 20th Avenue
Steven Kelly (10/07/76) was arrested for L&P after he was observed by witnesses to be looking in cars and walking through back yards with a towel on his head. He was located in the area and detained. The witnesses positively identified Kelly and completed statements attesting to their observations. Post Miranda, Kelly was unable to dispel officer’s fears that he was engaged in criminal activity. He was arrested, processed, and sent to the Palm Beach County Jail.

15-46049 0053 Hours Business Burglary 115 N. Congress Ave (Wing Wah)
Officers responded to an open door at Wing Wah Express and met with the business owner. The owner advised that he had secured the door and activated the alarm prior to leaving the business at approximately 2330 hours. He advised that he received a call from the alarm company at 0015 hours and responded to check the business. Upon arrival, the owner determined that the rear door to the business had been pried open so he contacted BBPD. Officers checked the inside of the business with negative results for any suspects. The owner conducted an inventory which resulted in the loss of the cash register and $85.00 in currency.
