Boynton Beach Police are looking for additional witnesses to a hit and run crash that seriously injured a 51-year-old woman as she crossed the 1000 block of North Seacrest Boulevard at around 9 p.m. last night.
A witness told investigators that a newer model gray Nissan Altima was traveling north on North Seacrest Boulevard approaching Northwest 10th Avenue as the woman crossed the street from west to east.
The front right side of the Altima struck the woman, who was thrown about 36 feet. The car continued traveling north on Seacrest Boulevard.
The woman was taken via trauma alert to a local hospital with serious injuries to include a broken pelvis and right shoulder, as well as head trauma.
The suspect vehicle should have heavy front-end damage to the passenger’s side. The damage may be visible on the right bumper, hood, windshield and roof of the car.
