The Boynton Beach Police Department, in partnership with WPBF, will host its annual Hurricane Preparedness Workshop on Monday, May 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the City Hall Community Room. WPBF Chief Meteorologist Cris Martinez will provide an overview of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season, while City departments will offer guidance on flood zones, preparedness strategies, and available hurricane resources.
The following departments will be available to answer questions and provide resources:
- Traffic Unit & Crime Prevention
- Public Works & Sold Waste
- Floodplain Managers/Building Division
- Utilities Department
