Police are investigating three robberies that occurred early this morning all within a couple of blocks of each other and 15 minute time frame.
The suspects took cells phones from each of the victims.
The first robbery occurred at about 4:46 a.m. in the 4000 block of North Congress Avenue. The 46-year-old victim told officers that she was walking home from Dunkin Donuts when she was approached by an older model red or burgundy Toyota or Honda. A man exited the passenger’s side of the car and snatched her iPhone from her hands.
While officers were on scene with the victim, they were approached by a 61-year-old man who said that the same thing happened to him while he was doing his morning exercises in the area of Meadows Boulevard.
And while officers were speaking with him, dispatch received a call about a third robbery that occurred on Hypoluxo Road and Boynton Lakes Boulevard.
No weapons were seen during the robberies and none of the victims were injured.
Police are looking for three suspects – the driver of the vehicle and two other black males in their early 20’s who were about 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with low haircuts and no facial hair wearing black t-shirts and black pants.
