Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday night in the 2700 block of Northeast First Court.
Officers were called to the scene around 10 p.m., and found a 30-year-old man in the driver’s seat of a silver 2013 Hyundai with a gunshot wound to his face.
Investigation has revealed that the victim, Travoris Leon Marshall of Boynton Beach, was driving west on Northeast 27th Court, when an unknown person began shooting at his car. One of the bullets entered his car and struck Marshall in his face. He was taken to Delray Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which do not appear to be life threatening.
