A 51-year-old motorcyclist died this morning in a traffic crash in the 100 block of East Gateway Boulevard.
David Bookman, of Boynton Beach, was driving his 1999 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle east on Gateway Boulevard around 9:45 a.m. At the same time, Joseph Dinmore, 79, was driving his 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan north on Northeast First Court. When Dinmore, of Boynton Beach, approached the intersection, he pulled out in front of Bookman, causing the front of the motorcycle to strike the driver’s side tire of the Dodge. Bookman was taken to Delray Medical Center, where he died. The investigation is ongoing. Witnesses are asked to call Traffic Homicide Investigator Christopher Munro at 561-742-6112.
