The Boynton Beach Police Department’s Chaplain Program provides spiritual support, guidance, and counseling to department members and their families. Chaplains serve as a valuable resource during both personal and professional challenges, offering confidential assistance and compassionate care.

Chaplains may assist with counseling, support during critical incidents, hospital or home visits, and participation in departmental functions such as memorial services, ceremonies, and roll calls. They also serve as a liaison to community religious leaders and help promote understanding during times of community concern or unrest.

Appointed by the Chief of Police, chaplains are professionally trained, maintain high moral standards, and are committed to serving individuals of all faiths and backgrounds. They are available to respond at any time and play an important role in supporting the well-being of department personnel.

All communications with a chaplain are considered confidential, except in situations where there is a concern for the safety of the individual or others.
