Take a good look at this “arrest warrant.” We are getting reports of people who have received this in their email from a “Robbie Williams at the U.S. Department of Justice,” advising you or your attorney to call a hotline number or you will be arrested.
THIS IS FAKE! If there is a legitimate warrant for your arrest, you will not receive an email from the Department of Justice about it. In addition, if there is a legal warrant, there is no “Offer in Compromise (OIC)” that you can pay instead of facing charges against you.
If you receive this in your email or via U.S. mail, simply delete it or throw it away. Do not take any action.
If you have any questions about the validity of a letter like this, you can always call us at 561-742-6100.
