The Boynton Beach Police Department offers a Trespass Agreement Program that allows property owners and business operators to authorize law enforcement to enforce trespassing violations on their property. Pursuant to Florida Statute 810.09, entering into a trespass agreement with BBPD authorizes department personnel to issue and enforce trespass warnings on behalf of the property owner or their designated agent.

This agreement grants the Boynton Beach Police Department the authority to issue trespass warnings when the business is closed or when the owner or agent is unavailable. The program helps property owners address ongoing trespassing concerns and supports proactive enforcement by officers when necessary.

To participate in the program, property owners must complete a Trespass Agreement Form and submit it to BBPD. The form must be notarized prior to submission. Participants are also required to post official trespass warning signs on the property, a fee may apply.
