18-061927 2258 hours Stolen Auto 2360 N Federal Hwy (Shell Gas Station)
A white 2014 Chevy Impala bearing FL tag EATP93 was stolen from the above location after the driver left the vehicle running in the parking lot. A loaded Taurus 9mm firearm (unknown serial number) was also within the vehicle.
18-061929 2308 hours L & P Arrest 902 NW 6th Ave
Units responded to above location in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Contact was made with B/M Justin Joseph and B/F j to the rear of the vacant residence. Post Miranda neither subject was able to dispel the officers concern. Both subjects were arrested for Loitering and Prowling and Joseph was additionally charged with possession of Marijuana less than 20 grams. Both released with an NTA.
18-61765 Auto Burglary 2450 Quantum Blvd. Towneplace Suites 0750 hours|
Overnight to a 2016 Ford F250. Broke the lock to the rear tailgate. Nothing appeared to be missing.
18-61773 Auto Burglary 1027 Fosters Mills Rd. 0806 hours
Overnight to a red Honda Civic and blue Toyota Corolla. Both vehicles were left unlocked. Laptop taken.
Units conducted numerous extra patrols in the retail areas along the Congress Ave. corridor.
