18-060332 Burglary To Residence 1833 NE 6th St 1927 hours
Officers were dispatched to the above address in reference to a burglary. The victim told officers a group of juveniles entered his opened garage and stole a bicycle from the garage. The victim also said the suspects left 3 other bicycles nearby that did not belong to the victim. The officers checked the area but did not locate the suspects. The abandoned bicycles were processed for evidence and later secured at BBPD as found property.
18-060368 Suspicious Incident 512 NW 9th Ave 2257 hours
Officers were sent to the above address to investigate a suspicious incident. The officers met the caller who explained the following: The caller heard the revving of a vehicle engine and the screeching of tires in the front of his resident. The caller walked outside and noticed a backpack and a cellphone in his front yard. The caller said there were weird sounds and tones coming from the direction of the backpack. Lastly, the caller said the items were not there when he got home just minutes prior. The suspicious items were investigated with the assistance of a PBSO K-9 trained in the detection of explosives. The items were cleared and the backpack was discovered to contain another cellphone with some personal items.

Overnight to an unlocked 2005 red Honda Civic. Wallet was taken from the center console.
