18-050665 Trespass After Warning 413 SW 1st Ct 1855 hours
Officers were dispatched to the above to address to investigate an alleged burglary. Officers made contact with the caller and a group of juveniles who were alleged to have been involved in the burglary. Following their investigation, officers arrested one of the juveniles for trespass after warning. The juveniles were released to their respective parents or guardian.
18-050674 Burglary to Residence 391 NE 28th Ct 1954 hours
Officers responded to a delayed burglary at the above residence. The victim told officers that unknown person(s) broke into the home via a bathroom window. The victim said no items were stolen but some personal property was moved around. There was obvious damage to the bathroom window.
18-050676 Burglary to Auto 2450 Quantum Blvd 2010 hours
Officers responded to the parking lot of TownePlace Suites by Marriott in reference to a burglary to a vehicle. Officers met with the victim who reported the theft of a $1,000 worth of tools from his pick-up truck. The victim said the burglary took place the previous night and did not notice the tools missing until he got to work earlier in the day. The items were taken from the Ford F-150’s tool box which was accidentally left unlocked by the victim.
18-050685 Burglary To Auto 715 S. Federal Hwy 2050 hours
Officers were dispatched to an auto burglary that occurred in the parking lot of Journey church. Officers were led to a Chrysler 200 with a smashed out passenger door. The victim told officers that various items, to include $400 in cash, were stolen from the vehicle.
18-050692 Robbery Strong-Arm217 N. Federal Hwy 2149 hours
Officers were flagged down by a Lyft driver who alleged to have been the victim of a robbery. The victim said he was dropping off a customer near the 100 block of West MLK when he was approached by an unknown male. The victim said during casual conversation with the unknown subject, the subject punched him in the face and stole his cell phone. The subject then offered to return the cell phone in exchange for money. When the victim refused to pay, the subject attempted to take money out of the victim’s pocket. At which point, the victim decided to drive off. No witness and/or suspect info available.
18-050716 Misuse of 911 209 N. Seacrest Blvd 2324 hours
Officers responded to the above address and met with Matthew McGuire who wanted to report a suspicious incident. Following McGuire’s interaction with police, McGuire decided to call 911 multiple times for reasons other than obtaining public safety assistance. McGuire was arrested and was subsequently turned over to the Palm Beach County Jail.
18-50553 GTA 955 Brookdale Dr 0631 hours
Sometime between 2300 and 0625 unknown suspect stole victims black 2017 Hyundai Genesis bearing FL tag ILKG18. Victim believes he left a key fob in the center console.
Officers responded to 2 non-fatal overdoses during the course of the shift.
