18-031436 Burglary Auto 314 Buttonwood Lane 1330 hours
The victim parked his vehicle, a white 2005 Ford E-150 work van, near the Sandalwood clubhouse on Friday and noticed it had been burglarized when he checked it this afternoon. Entry was made via the passenger side door as the lock had been disabled. Numerous tools were removed from inside the vehicle.
18-31536 Shooting Occupied Dwelling 1526 NE 1st CT 0427 hours
Units responded in reference to shots fired. Just prior to the call coming out, officers were in the area of the 700 block of N. Seacrest, and heard 20-40 shots. Once in the 1600 block of N. Seacrest, they heard a few more shots. After checking the area, no evidence, suspects or victims were located. ***At 0730hrs, officers responded to 132 NE 16th Ave in reference to bullet holes in a window, vehicle and tree. Two houses and a vehicle were struck by bullets. CSI responded and processed the scene.
18-31546 Auto Burglar 1530 Stonehaven Dr 0814 hours
Sometime between 06/16-06/17, unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked Honda Accord and removed items without their permission.
18-31563 Auto Burglary 405 Buttonwood LN 1123 hours
Sometime between 06/16-06/17, unknown suspect entered victim’s unlocked Acura TSX and removed a Ruger LCP 380 firearm with a loaded mag.
18-031436 Burglary Auto 2400 S. Congress Ave. 1606 hours
The victim parked his vehicle in front of the business at approx. 1500hrs. At 1545hrs, another employee was exiting the business and observed a light skinned B/F moving between the cars in the parking lot. The female got into an unknown make or model sedan occupied by a B/M driver which left the area. The victim’s front passenger window was discovered to have been shattered and her purse removed from the vehicle. The purse contained numerous items including credit cards which were revealed to have been used immediately after the burglary at Wal-Mart (3200 Old Boynton). Investigation is ongoing.
18-031509 Occupied Burglary 327 SW 4th Ave 2238 hours
The victim advised that she was watching television when she heard a noise come from inside her residence. As she turned around she saw the defendant, W/M Montesinos Pena, standing in her residence near the bathroom. She yelled at the male to leave her residence at which point he fled out of the front door. She immediately called 911 and provided a description of the male. Officer Worrell located him on the street in front of the victim’s residence. He was detained and later positively identified by the victim. Pena was taken into custody and later tot PBCJ.
18-031514 Affray / Child Abuse 1151 N. Congress Ave. (Cinemark) 2335 hours
Officers responded to the area in reference to a disturbance called in by the detail units at the theater. Approximately 50-100 juveniles had to be removed from one of the theaters for disrupting the movie. The juveniles remained in the area around the theater awaiting their rides. A second incident erupted in a separate theater at which point several dozen more juveniles emerged from inside. Two females, B/F/J and B/F Ch’korie Sanders, began yelling and cursing at each other then immediately began punching each other in the presence of officers. They had to be physically separated and taken into custody. Both were treated on scene for exposure to mace/pepper spray which occurred at some point while they were in the theater (not administered by officers). Both claimed to have been sprayed by the other. They were transported to BBPD for processing. The juvenile was charged with Affray and was released with an NTA to a parent. Sanders was charged with Affray and Child Abuse and was tot PBCJ.
18-31360 Overdose Non-fatal 3150 SE 2nd ST. 0525 hours
W/M found unresponsive in his bedroom. Transported to Bethesda where he was revived.
18-31369 Auto Burglary 243 SW 12th Ave. 0718 hours
Sometime during the night unknown suspect entered the bed of a pick-up truck and removed numerous fishing poles.
18-31379 Auto Burglary 3 Colonial Club Drive. 0848 hours
Sometime overnight unknown suspect entered 2008 white Mercedes C300 and removed a set of golf clubs and some change.
18-31044 Death Overdose Walmart 3625 S. Federal Hwy 1007 hours
Male found unconscious not breathing in a vehicle in the parking lot. Appeared to be accidental as a possible carbon monoxide poisoning.
18-031269 1630 hours Robbery 4789 N. Congress Ave.
Victim advised she was waiting at the above address when she was approached by two unknown black males. One of the subjects grabbed her arm while the other subject grabbed her I-Phone 8 from her hand. Both suspects were last seen running towards Meadows on the Green.
18-031282 1748 hours Overdose-Non Fatal 1037 SW 25 Way
Officers made contact with a subject from an apparent overdose (heroin/fentanyl). Subject was tot Bethesda and is expected to make a full recovery.
18-031315 2106 hours Accident w/ Injuries 1700 block N. Congress Ave.
Officers responded to a vehicle accident with injures. Three vehicles were involved with one striking the Palm Trans Bus Stop Shelter adjacent to Renaissance Commons. The driver was trapped and removed by BBFR. He was also trauma alerted due to his altered mental status and was transported to Delray Medical Center. THI and Crime scene responded to the scene. The driver is expected to survive as he had non-life threatening injuries.

Victim advised she left her silver VW Jetta, FL tag DJFK04 unsecured and running at the above address. Vehicle was entered into F/NCIC.
18-031336 2347 hours Suspicious Incident/Shots Fired 1 Belmont Place
Officers responded to the above address reference shots fired. A search of the area yielded negative evidence or witnesses. Local hospitals were checked.
18-31181, 31185, 31211, 31197, 31212, 31223 Burglary Autos Multiple Locations
4 separate auto burglaries from Villa Cir. Overnight. All from what appear to be unsecured vehicles. One from 1760 Stonehaven and the other from 147 SE 25th Ave.
