18-010423 0042 hours Stolen Auto/Fleeing and Eluding Arrest 100 NE 16th Ave.
Officer Grigorian was on patrol in the aforementioned area when he attempted a traffic stop on a Gray 2007 VW Jetta bearing FL. Tag HTJ V46. The vehicle failed to stop and continued Northbound on Seacrest Blvd toward Gateway. A registration check through dispatch, revealed the vehicle to be stolen out of Boynton Beach. The vehicle made an East bound turn onto Gateway and then a South bound turn onto NE 3rd St. The vehicle stopped at 2210 NE 3rd St. where a felony stop was conducted. The driver B/M/J Amos Decembre dob 10-8-01 was taken into custody and arrested for GTA and Fleeing and Eluding.
18-010272 Burglary (Vehicle) 502 NE 3rd St 0908hrs
Officer responded to National Transmission where it was reported that between 1800 hrs on 2-16-18 and 0900 hrs on today’s date, an unknown person entered a 2013 Ford E450 shuttle bus and removed a CB radio ($500) and caused about $100 in damage.
18-010281 Burglary (Vehicle) 21 Juniper Dr 1025hrs
Officer responded to Briny Breezes and made contact with the victim who reported that between the hours of 1200 on 2/17/18 and 1000hrs on this date an unknown person entered his 2010 Dodge Caravan and removed a set of Ping golf clubs ($400). There was no forced entry or damage found on the vehicle.
18-010282 Strong Arm Robbery 300 N Seacrest Blvd 1038hrs
Officers responded to the area in reference to a reported strong arm robbery where the victim advised that while she was using her cell phone an unidentified b/m rode past her on a black bicycle and grabbed her phone out of her hands. She advised that the suspected then fled north bound on N. Seacrest Blvd. Multiple units searched the area with negative results. At 1431, the victim called the PD and reported that she had called her phone and learned it was located at Bethesda Hospital where she recovered it. The victim advised that she had not been at Bethesda Hospital. A refusal to prosecute form was then completed.
18-10306 Burglary (Vehicle) 5000 N Ocean Blvd 1321hrs
Officer was flagged down at Briny Breezes to report a delayed vehicle burglary. The victim reported that sometime during the evening an unknown person broke into their 2014 Ford Escape by smashing the front passenger window. The suspect then removed a black Ruger LCR 38 Special Double Action Revolver with Crimson Trace Laser, (serial # 541-33206) valued at $660. The firearm was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
18-010139 1637 hours Aggravated Assault (Firearm) 100 SE 4th Avenue
B/M Romaine Henry DOB 08-22-93 was arrested after investigation revealed he and his girlfriend lured her ex-boyfriend to their residence via text messages eluding to sexual favors. Upon his arrival to area, Henry approached the ex-boyfriend and pointed a firearm at him. The ex-boyfriend fled in his car with Henry and his girlfriend pursuing him throughout the city. Eventually, the ex-boyfriend lost Henry and responded to the station to make a report. Officers located Henry at 521 SW 1st Court. He was taken to the station where Post Miranda he admitted to the events. He further stated that he disposed of the gun in a canal off of Miner Road; however, a search warrant was executed at the condo and a firearm was located in the downstairs bathroom. Henry was processed and sent to county jail.
18-010133 1526 hrs Overdose (Non-Fatal)500 W. Woolbright Rd.
W/M Adult was operating a vehicle southbound on I-95 and crashed into another vehicle. The subject continued driving until he exited onto Woolbright Rd. exit ramp, where he stopped the vehicle on the overpass merge lane. Citizens approached the subject and found him unconscious from an overdose. Officer arrived on-scene and administered to doses of Narcan Nasal spray and he was turned over to BBFR for transport to BMH for further treatment. Subject expected to make full recovery. Vehicle accident investigated by FHP.
18-010005 2031 hours Baker Act NE 6th Avenue
39 year old black female was taken into custody under a Baker Act after she was observed in roadway yelling that people were chasing her. Subject further stated that she was “losing her mind” and no longer wanted to live. The female was transported to JFK Hospital.
18-010055 0103 hours Stolen Auto 905 W Woolbright Road
Victim reported that unknown person(s) stole his silver 2011 Hyundai Sonata bearing FL tag 319MLX which he left running in the parking lot of RaceTrac Gas. Vehicle was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
18-010061 0242 hours DUI 2605 W Woolbright Road
W/M Benjamin W Manning DOB 07-21-77 was arrested for DUI in the parking lot of the 7-11. Manning was taken to county jail.
18-009772 1903 hours CCF 412 NE 3rd Street
Officers attempted a traffic stop on a bicyclist in the 300 block of NE 3rd Street. The cyclist refused to stop and pedaled behind 412 NE 3rd Street where he dismounted his bike and fled on foot. In the process of running he threw a metallic object over a fence. The cyclist, identified as Clarck Jerome DOB 02/04/95 was captured and arrested. Officers backtracked and located Jimenez Arms .380 caliber pistol on the other side of the fence. Post-Miranda Jerome confessed to possessing the firearm for protection and discarding it because he’s on probation. Jerome was processed and sent to county jail.
18-009809 2057 hours CCF/Possession of Contraband 3000 N Seacrest Blvd
NIU, D-Bureau and K9 were on proactive patrol in the 2200 block of N Seacrest Blvd when they observed a white 2016 Ford Fiesta bearing FL tag CHRS67 cut off two vehicles. The officers attempted a traffic stop but the driver of the car failed to yield. Officers broke off their pursuit as the vehicle fled north on Seacrest towards Hypoluxo Road; however, due to I-95 being closed (Pres. Trump escort) the car was caught in traffic. The car then went east on Hypoluxo Road where the two occupants bailed and fled on foot. The driver jumped the fenced and was not captured. The passenger, B/M Derriel L Wallace DOB 08-08-95 fled but was tased and captured. In the process, Wallace dropped a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol and a plastic bag containing 2 smaller bags of heroin and 39 small bags of cocaine. On his person, Wallace had an oxycodone pill and a marijuana cigarette. Inside the car, officers located a loaded Glock 21 (.45 ACP pistol), 66.1 grams of codeine (liquid), 10.7 grams of marijuana, 9.5 grams of heroin, 1.3 grams of Methamphetamine, 5.3 grams of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Wallace was medically cleared, processed and sent to county jail.
18-009822 2344 hours Possession of Contraband 2010 N Federal Hwy
W/M Anthony B Guerrero DOB 05-20-96 was arrested for possession of marijuana <20 grams after officers found him smoking in his car inside Harvey Oyer Park which closes at Dusk. Guerrero was processed and released with an NTA.
18-009847 0102 hours Flee & Elude/Poss. of Contraband 2400 N Seacrest Blvd
Officers Montoute and Vazquez using the unmarked Magnum attempted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Maxima bearing FL tag EGQJ71. The driver refused to stop and initially began to drive at a high rate of speed before stopping just north of Mentone Road. A felony stop was conducted and with the assistance of K9 Iro the four occupants (2 males and 2 females) were detained. The two females exited the car without incident however the males (driver and passenger) resisted. One of the females was released on scene without charges. The other female, B/F Tomika L Roberts DOB 12-21-79 was charged with possession of cocaine. The driver, B/M Alexander Houston Jr DOB 07-16-81 was charged with Flee & Elude, and resisting without violence. The passenger, B/M Antwron Fredrick DOB 05-28-87 was charged with resisting without. Force was used to take Houston into custody. No reported injuries.
