17-070118 1936 hours Robbery/Sudden Snatching 701 N Congress Avenue|
Victim advised that while at the Arcade a b/m approximately 30-40 years of age, clean cut wearing a white shirt grabbed her Gucci purse ($1500) and ran north from the business. Inside the purse was a Cartier wallet ($900) containing $140 cash. Also in the purse was a Cartier necklace ($800) and Louis Vuitton earrings ($400). A canvass of the area was negative for the suspect.

W/F Patricia L Gormley DOB 07/01/88 was arrested after investigation discovered she had an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear. Gormley was sent to county jail.
17-070147 2153 hours Burglary (Cat-Type) 1600 Stonehaven Drive #3
Victim reported that while sleeping she was awakened by what she thought was her roommate. Victim went to check her iPhone 7 Plus ($900) and discovered it was missing from the charger. Victim checked the apartment and discovered that the front door was open. Victim contacted her roommate via computer who advised that she at work on a plane (flight attendant) in Ft. Lauderdale. A subsequent check of the apartment also revealed that the unknown suspect(s) stole two of her roommate’s laptops as well.
17-070191 0108 hours Overdose (Non-Fatal) 200 SW 7th Street
38 year old male was found overdosing by his girlfriend. Arriving officers administered Narcan and the male was subsequently transported by BBFR to Bethesda Hospital.
17-070055 Possession Contraband 2800 SE 2nd St 14:27 hours
BBPD units responded to a complainant of a possible violent robbery in the 3600 block of S Federal Hwy. Officers observed a subject in the area (Seaborne Cove) where the suspect was reported to be last seen. As officers approached the subject he took flight along the railroad tracks. Officers observed the subject pull a plastic bag from his clothing and discard it as he ran from them. The subject later identified as Edwidge Racine eventually stopped and surrendered to police. Racine was charged with Possess Heroin, Poss Cocaine with intent to sell <1000 ft of park, Possess Marijuana, Resist w/o violence Trespass FEC Railroad Tracks. Racine was tot to PBCJ without incident.

17-070042 Overdose (non-fatal) 509 E. Boynton Beach Blvd. 1253hrs.
17-070044 Suspicious Incident /Recovered Firearm Library 208 S. Seacrest. 1257hrs.
Units responded to the library in reference to a small group of juveniles loitering outside. The caller advised that they observed what they believed to be a handgun in the pocket of one of the juveniles as well as another juvenile with what appeared to be a firearm on his thigh. Upon arrival no firearms were located on anyone. The area was searched and a firearm was located under a bench, however, Officers were unable to identify the owner. Firearm was taken into evidence.
