Officers observed a Toyota Corolla, FL tag# ETWW94, being driven in the area. The vehicle was entered as stolen out of Delray Beach. A felony stop was conducted and the driver b/m Charles Alford was taken into custody without incident. He was arrested, processed, and lodged at PBCJ.

US Marshals and Uniform Services officers located b/m Lenny Laguerre dob 05/01/1998 who was wanted on felony charges out of Riviera Beach. He was arrested and transported by the Marshal Service.
17-045075 0733 hours Arson 301 N Seacrest Boulevard
Officers responded to the First Baptist Church in reference to a fire. Officers were met by the pastor who advised there was fire behind the stage. Officers were unable to get to area as the Church’s sprinkler system was fully engaged. BBFD arrived and extinguished any remaining flames. The Fire Marshal arrived on scene and through his investigation determined that fires started by the stage’s curtains. Based upon the location the fire was intentionally started. An 8 year old boy who was on scene with his father upon our initial arrival stated he had been playing with a lighter. The Fire Marshal advised that he would not make an arrest but recommend the child for a fire diversion program.

Victim stated that between 2300 hours on August 5th and 0800 hours this date unknown person(s) stole $3000 worth of miscellaneous tools from the bed of his blue 2006 Toyota Tundra pickup bearing FL tag248AHU. The cab of the pickup truck was locked and secured.

Victim stated that between 1200 hours on August 5th and 1025 hours this date unknown person(s) entered his white 2015 Ford Transit 150 by smashing the drivers’ side window. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) rummaged through the van but it is unknown yet what is missing until an inventory is completed.

Girlfriend found her 39 year old live-in boyfriend unresponsive in the bed. The girlfriend advised that the decedent has been abusing oxycodone. Crime scene, D-Bureau, and the ME’s Office were notified.

Victim reported that between 2400 hours and 1200 hours this date unknown person(s) stole his blue 2012 Jonway Shenke 150cc scooter bearing FL tagMDIJ33 from his driveway. The scooter was entered into FCIC/NCIC.

Officers responded to this halfway house in reference to a female resident unresponsive and cold to the touch. Crime Scene, D-Bureau, and the ME’s Office were notified.

Male patient was taken to JFK after responding officers located a male who appeared to be under the influence of flakka. The male advised he had smoked some “bad crack.”
17-044890 1005 hours Possession of Contraband 3024 E Palm Drive
After a traffic stop, B/M Waymon Thomas DOB 10/08/91 and B/M Kevin Newbold DOB 2/26/94 were arrested for possession of an assortment of narcotics to include heroin, cocaine, oxycodone, and Xanax. Also in their possession were two (2) firearms one recovered on the arrestee’s person and another one (Glock) located in a backpack in the car. The Glock was reported stolen in 2016.
17-044901 1101 hours Burglary (Business) 511 NE 4th Street
Victim report that between 0200 hours and 1100 hours unknown person(s) entered the outside bar area of the Fish Depot Bar & Grill by climbing the stockade fence. Once in the bar area, the unknown suspect(s) stole 2 Philipps 55” Flat screen TV’s ($1,000) by removing them from their wall brackets.
17-044821 2241 hours Narcotics Arrest 1540 W Boynton Beach Blvd
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevy Impala reference a traffic violation. Officers made contact with the driver W/M Kevin Adams who was found in possession of numerous drugs and paraphernalia. Adams was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule II substance, Possession of Marijuana more than 20 grams (70.1grams).
17-044717 1140 hours Accident with Serious Injury Hypoluxo & Lawrence Road
Units responded to the intersection of Hypoluxo Rd & Lawrence Rd in reference to a two vehicle crash in which one of the drivers was ejected. Thorough investigation revealed that (V1) 2006 Volkswagen Passat (which was operated by b/m Jerry Jean Charles 05-19-97 of Lantana, FL) was stopped facing westbound on Hypoluxo Rd at Lawrence Rd in the left turn lane. (V2) 1989 Jeep pickup truck (which was operated by B/M Gregory Graham 12-31-67 of Boynton Beach, FL) was traveling eastbound on Hypoluxo Rd in the left straight lane approaching Lawrence Rd. As the light turned yellow, V1 attempted to make a left turn in front of V2 causing the right front of V2 to strike the right front side of V1. Graham was ejected from the V2 and the vehicle subsequently rolled and landed on Graham. A group of Good Samaritan bystanders helped lift the truck off of Graham. Due to the fact that Graham was ejected and the vehicle landing on him BBFD declared him a trauma alert and transported him to Delray Medical Center. Charles was transported to Bethesda hospital for minor injuries. As of this writing Graham was downgraded to stable condition with internal bruising. Roadway reopened at 1345 hours. Charles was cited for Failed to Yield while making left Turn. Graham was cited for DWLS.

Victim stated that between 2100 hours on August 3rd and 0800 hours this date unknown person(s) entered his unsecured black 2008 Mercedes Benz S550. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) stole his Louis Vuitton wallet ($700) and $280 in US currency.

Victim stated that between 0100 hours and 1300 hours unknown suspect(s) stole his gray 2013 GMW Scooter bear FL tag 6527RC from the community parking lot. The scooter was entered into FCIC/NCIC.
17-44340 1804 hours Poss. of Firearm by C/Felon/Narcotics Arrest 400 NW 11th Ave.
After a traffic stop was conducted on b/m Tony Edwards Jr. he was found to be in possession of a firearm (Black 9mm Ruger) and 36.8 grams of individually packaged Marijuana. Further investigation revealed Edwards to be a convicted felon. He was subsequently turned over to PBCJ.
17-044548 1823 hours Overdose (Non-Fatal)/DUI Arrest 500 W. Gateway Blvd.
Units responded to the above address in reference to defendant b/f Brooklyn Grady being unconscious and unresponsive while in operation of her Red Toyota Scion. Grady was subsequently transported to Bethesda Hospital for medical treatment to wit she was medically cleared. Multiple baggies of suspect heroin were recovered from Grady’s vehicle. Grady was ultimately charged with DUI but was not charged with possession of heroin due to the State’s Immunity Statute. She was turned over to PBCJ.
