17-13933 Traffic Complaint 2200 NE 1st St 1853hrs
Officers responded in reference to the report of off road motorcycles riding on the roadway. Officers located 2 juveniles at a nearby residence with motorcycles. They were identified, and educated as to the relevant FSS for off road vehicles.
17-11904 Suspicious Fire 517 Meadows Blvd 0105hrs
Officers responded to a fully engulfed vehicle fire. Fire Marshal responded.
Officers conducted surveillance on several NIU areas of interest.
17-13955 Overdose/not fatal 743 NE 36th Ave 2137hrs
17-13889 Carjacking/Shots Fired 422 NW 12th Ave 1202hrs
Officers responded to the scene of an armed carjacking of a pregnant female, during which shots were fired at a BBPD Officer. Officers pursued the suspect to the 1000 Blk of NW 5th Street where he struck a curb and his vehicle was disabled. A foot pursuit ensued and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A firearm has been recovered at the scene. During the incident, a BBPD marked unit was nearly struck head on by the fleeing suspect. No injuries were reported to anyone involved.
17-13713 Battery 501 SE 18th Ave 1244hrs
Officers arrested a w/m who had been involved in the theft of merchandise from Publix. Upon being confronted by a customer, a fight ensued. Several other people assisted with detaining this individual until police arrived and he was arrested. The subject was transported to Bethesda Hospital East for treatment of injuries sustained during the incident.
17-013581 2022 hours GTA/Poss. Fentanyl/Heroin 201 SE 24th Ave.
Units responded to the above address in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival Officer Jeanniton and his trainee Officer Lufkin made contact with driver b/m Cleef S. Castor (DOB 12/19/93) and passenger b/m Jniry H Valceus. Further investigation revealed the black Toyota Camry bearing FL tag 216-LHE had been stolen out of Delray Beach. Both occupants were subsequently arrested. Castor for GTA and Valceus for Possession of Heroin and Fentanyl. Both were processed and tot PBCJ.
17-013614 2344 hours Overdose/Non-fatal 2821 S. Federal Hwy (Homing Inn).
Units responded to the above address in reference to an overdose. Upon arrival information was gleaned the W/F patient had injected a “Half Cap” of Heroin and was now unconscious and not breathing. Narcan was administered by BBFR and the patient regained consciousness. She was subsequently transported to Bethesda for further medical attention.
Officers conducted a Traffic Enforcement patrol at the 1900 Block of NE 1st Ln. As a result multiple traffic contacts were made and one narcotics arrest (17-013549).
17-13432 Burglary Vehicle 631 E. Woolbright Rd. #207 0628hrs
Victim reported an unknown person burglarized her locked 2015 gray Volkswagon Jetta (Fl tag EPEI48). No items were reported to be missing. The method of entry remains unknown.
17-13480 Burglary Vehicle 3900 Hypoluxo Rd. 0812hrs
Victim reported that his green 2013 Ford (Fl Tag GMQP13) was burglarized while at the Motor City Car Wash. A black Smith & Weston SMP .40 Cal semi auto handgun was reported to have been stolen from the center console area. The firearm was loaded with 15 rounds. He was unable to provide a serial number to the handgun at the time of this report.

Officers responded to a report of an incident involving two juveniles alleged to have been involved in inappropriate touching. Patrol and Detective Bureau personnel are investigating the circumstances in conjunction with the CPT. The investigation is ongoing.
17-13494 Burglary Vehicle 631 E. Woolbright Rd. #C305 1314hrs
Victim reported that an unknown person burglarized her locked 2015 black Infinity Q5 bearing FL tag 854VBM. The vehicle registration and an Ipod valued at $200 were taken.
17-13498 Overdose (Non-Fatal) 501 501 SE 18th Ave 1314hrs
Male was found to be unconscious and barely breathing in the bathroom of this business. BBFD provide immediate medical care and administered naloxone (Narcan) to him. He was then transported by BBFD to Bethesda Hospital East for further evaluation.
17013319 1809 hours Over Dose (Non-fatal) Burger King / 1490 SW 8th St
Police and EMS responded and found w/m suffering from an overdose. Lifesaving techniques were administered and he regained consciousness. He was later transported to Bethesda hospital.
17013373 2159 hours Over Dose (Non-fatal) 3531 S. Federal Hwy # C
