17-005365 0924hrs Overdose (Non-Fatal) 458 NW 1st Avenue
Officers responded to a report of an unconscious person and located male on the floor in the bathroom. He was unresponsive. BBFR provided life saving measures to him and he regained consciousness. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital East for further treatment.
17-005337 0827hrs Road Closure (FPL) Old Boynton Rd./Renn. Comm. Blvd
Officers responded with BBFR to a transformer explosion. The westbound roadway of Old Boynton Road was closed to vehicular and foot traffic due to an extreme life hazard from live high voltage lines that came down onto the roadway and sidewalks. FPL responded with emergency response crews and made the area safe. The repair work required an extended closure of the roadway, which was facilitated by FPL and their traffic control contractor. No injuries were reported during the incident.
17-005316 2250hrs Trespassing/Possession of Marijuana 1005 N. Seacrest Blvd
B/M Fredrick, Antwron DOB 05-28-87 was placed under arrest for trespassing after he refused to vacate the property. Once placed under arrest Fredrick was found to be in possession 1.6 grams of Marijuana. Fredrick was TOT PBCJ.
17-005199 0640hrs Aggravated Battery 200 Block NE 13th Avenue
Officers responded to Delray Hospital in reference to a delayed assault. They spoke with victim who reported that she was hanging out at the 200 block of NE 13 Ave when a B/F known to her as “T” hit her in the body with a PVC pipe. This incident occurred on 1/27/17 at 1430hrs. “T” is described as a B/F in her 30’s, 5″8′, 150 pounds, wearing jeans shorts, and a red shirt. Despite being diagnosed with a ruptured spleen, she refused to cooperate and signed a refusal to prosecute form.
17-005239 1319hrs Burglary (Vehicle) 1775 North Congress Avenue
Victim reported that an unknown person shattered the driver’s window ($250) of her locked gray 2015 Lexus IS 250 and her took Coach purse ($300) from the front seat. The purse contained a smaller Coach purse ($250), miscellaneous credit cards, and $3000.00 in cash. Crime scene was negative, and there are no known suspects. Total loss is estimated to be $3,800.
17-004968 0552hrs Stolen Vehicle (Scooter) SW 9th Avenue
Victim reported that her 2014 Tao i was stolen by an unknown suspect between 1201 hrs to 0500 hrs on 1/27/17. The scooter was locked up in front of her residence. It appears that the suspect walked to the front of her residence and carried the Tao away, or cut the lock and wheeled it away. The Tao i was blue, with a Carolina Panther football helmet on the front fender. The Tao i was entered into FCIC/NCIC as stolen.
17-004990 0854hrs Overdose (Non-Fatal) 1499 South Federal Highway
Officers located male lying in the hallway on the 5th floor. He was semi-conscious. BBFD arrived on scene and provided treatment to him, which revived him. Several types of prescription medications were found with him. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital East for further treatment.
17-004997 0911hrs Robbery (Bank) 315 South Federal Highway
An unknown white male entered the SunTrust Bank and presented a demand letter for money to a teller. He took an undetermined amount bank funds, and then exited the bank via the west main entrance. He then entered a white pick-up truck (unknown tag #) and left the area in an unknown direction of travel. BBPD Detectives and Crime Scene responded to the scene. Suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’6” with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a black/white hat.
17-004997 0922hrs Burglary (Vehicle) 2180 NE 1st Lane
Victim reported that an unknown subject burglarized his locked Red 2017 Toyota Rav4 (FL tag EEDY85). He attempted to clean his vehicle when he noticed his wallet containing his FLDL, green card, Social Security card, Chase bank debit card and $85 missing from his center console.

Officers responded to a reported overdose and located a semi-conscious, 26 year old male. BBFD arrived on scene and provided treatment which revived him. The male was transported to Bethesda Hospital East for further treatment.
17-004902 2012 hours 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd. Strong Arm Robbery
Victim listed his IPhone 7 on Offer Up. Met with a black males 17 to 18 y.o.a, tall, wearing a red shirt. Black male snatched the phone from him and ran into the basketball court. He gave chase and was then “jumped” by two additional black males who grabbed him around the neck. The black males then stole his IPhone 6S from his person. He was not injured, declining medical attention.
17-004907 2030 hours 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd. Strong Arm Robbery
Victim listed his gold IPhone 6. He was contacted by someone by the name “Willie” (young black male, approximately 17 years of age, 5’08″, wearing grey sweat pants and a grey hoodie). He met with “Willie” who snatched the phone and took off running south through the complex. He was not injured during this robbery.

Victim listed his IPhone 6S on Offer Up. He with B/M Darius Jordan (no record found) in the parking lot. He handed Jordan the phone, who took off running through the basketball courts. Jordan is described as 6-00 tall 200 pounds wearing a white shirt and cargo pants.

Officers canvassed the area, no victims, no witnesses, no evidence located.
17-004955 0120 hours 1005 N. Seacrest Blvd. Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell
Officer Montoute-Howard made contact with Vincent Veasey Jr. on the north side of the building. Investigation revealed Veasey was in possession of 11 individual baggies of heroin. Veasey was taken into custody without incident and charged accordingly.
