Eric Pinkney 6.25.90 was located in Heritage Park. Pinkney was arrested after a brief struggle with Officers. Pinkney was found to be in possession of .8 grams of Heroin and .9 grams of Cocaine. Additionally, BBPD records check revealed Pinkney had an active warrant out of Palm Beach County for FTA-Fleeing and Eluding (PBSO #16009603 / Warrant #16009603CFAXX with no bond.

Officers responded to the area in reference to 10 shots fired. The area was checked with negative results for a crime scene, witnesses, or any damage.
17-1281 2137 hours Aggravated Assault/Arrest 2311 NE 4th Street
Charles Abrego was arrested after he threatened his sister and her boyfriend with a 12-inch knife and a baseball bat. He was processed and sent to the Palm Beach County Jail.
17-1022 1742 hours Strong Arm Robbery 1634 S. Federal Hwy
Officers made contact with the victim of a robbery at Walgreen’s. The victim advised that three female acquaintances attacked her and took approximately $55 worth of her property. The victim sustained cuts, scrapes, bruises, and a bite mark. The investigation is on-going.
17-1023 1746 hours Overdose (Non-Fatal) 2403 S. Federal Hwy
An unconscious male was located in the bathroom of the Sunoco station. He was transported to Bethesda Hospital and treated for the overdose. He was subsequently arrested for a warrant and transported to the Palm Beach County Jail.
17-1109 0049 hours Pursuit/Arrest 300 NE 16th Avenue
Officers located a white Hyundai Sonata that matched a BBPD Car Jacking BOLO from January 4, 2017. The vehicle initially stopped and then immediately accelerated away from the traffic stop. A pursuit was initiated and the vehicle made several evasive maneuvers before crashing into a tree at the intersection of N. Palm/Ocean Pkwy. The driver attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Checks on the vehicle revealed that it was reported stolen from PBSO jurisdiction on December 26, 2016. No injuries or damage to any city property.
17-944 Fail to Stop 3500 S Congress Ave 1036hrs
Officers responded to the report of a reckless driver on a scooter. The driver/vehicle was located and a traffic stop initiated. The driver failed to yield and the attempt to stop was terminated. Driver was subsequently located and arrested. See 17-946.

Officers responded to the above address in reference to a burglary auto where a S&W XD 9mm handgun was taken. CS responded.
17-931 Suspicious Incident/Stolen Vehicle Recovery 36 Crossings Cir 0934hrs
Officers responded to the report of a disturbance where it was alleged that two individuals were fighting and one party was ramming the others vehicle with their own. Upon officers arrival both vehicles were found to be reported stolen. A silver Honda (FL 283TTT) fled the scene and refused to yield. The attempt to stop it was terminated. A stolen gold Toyota was recovered and towed.

Officers responded to the report of a reckless driver on a scooter. The driver/vehicle was located and a traffic stop initiated. The driver failed to yield and the attempt to stop was terminated. Driver was subsequently located and arrested.
17-946 Auto Theft/Resist by Flight Arrest 135 SW 10th Ave 1051hrs
Officers were in the area of 200 SW 10th Avenue in reference to 17-944. The as yet unreported stolen vehicle (2016 Ford Explorer) was seen driving west on SW10th Ave with a mattress hanging out of the rear hatch. Communications dispatched the call and confirmed the vehicle description. The vehicle and suspect (bmj) were located at 900 SW 4th Street. The suspect bailed out of the stolen vehicle. A description of the suspect (matched 17-944) was given and a perimeter established. The subject emerged from the perimeter at 900 SW 3rd Street wearing different clothing with no backpack. The suspect reentered the perimeter and reemerged 402 SW 8th Ave and was apprehended. The backpack was recovered with the white clothing the suspect was originally wearing. The officer’s investigation revealed that the suspect had abandoned the scooter and stolen the Ford. During the suspects’ flight he had fallen into a pool at 420 SW 8th Ave and changed into clothing from his backpack. Suspect t.o.t. JAC. Exemplary job by A3.4 & Communications on the perimeter.
