16032836 2214 hours Fleeing & Eluding / GTA / Resisting Arrest EZ Mart / 1005 N Seacrest
OFC Montoute observed a 2010, Nissan Maxima, FL tag#BPRI55, that was entered F/NCIC as a felony vehicle wanted for Armed Robbery out of Delray Beach. Officers initiated a traffic stop; however, the vehicle did not yield and an authorized pursuit ensued. The vehicle eventually entered into Lantana where OFC Herny was able to stop stick the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Hypoluxo Rd. and Seacrest Blvd. The suspect vehicle then struck another motorist before the suspect lost control and crashed into a metal guardrail. The suspect/driver, later identified as b/m Christopher Barry dob 01/13/1996, attempted to flee on foot; however, BBPD and Lantana PD where able to take him into custody. Recovered at the scene was a PBSO Glock 22 .40 caliber which had been previously reported stolen from a deputy. Gun was submitted for DNA. Delray Beach D-Bureau and CSI responded. CSI McKinlay responded. Lantana PD investigated the traffic crash. OFC Melo sustained injuries to his left knee and was treated at Bethesda. The suspect was also medically cleared, processed, and later lodged at PBCJ.
16-32705/16-32708 0526 hours Theft/Scooter X2 3603 N. Old Dixie Hwy
Between 2200 hours on 06/11/16 and 0500 hours on 06/12/16, two scooters were stolen from the carport of the residence. Evidence on scene pointed to an unknown truck being involved.
16-32751 1254 Hours Resisting Arrest 301 N. Federal Hwy(CVS)
Loretta Moore was arrested for Resisting Arrest w/out Violence during a retail theft investigation. Moore was lawfully detained at which time she flailed her arms and twisted her body to break the officers grasp. Moore sustained abrasions to her legs when she was taken to the ground and handcuffed. Moore was released on scene with an NTA.

Between 06/10/16 at 2030 hours and 06/11/16 at 0830 hours, an unlocked Toyota Tundra was entered and an I-Pod Touch stolen from the vehicle.

Between 06/10/16 at 1800 hours and 06/11/16 at 1000 hours, an unlocked Nissan Sentra was entered and a wallet stolen from the vehicle.

Officers responded to the report of shots fired. No witnesses/crime scene located to substantiate the report.
16-32449 AOD/FD Manor Forest Tr 2030hrs.
Officers responded to a CLS medical call. Officers met with the reporting party (acquaintance of husband) who had located a female in the bathroom of the residence bleeding from a head wound. DB/CSI responded. The subject was transported to DCH as a trauma patient and will survive. Investigation revealed this to be accidental injury as a result of acute medical condition.
16-32331 0905 hours Burglary (Delayed) 902 SW 36th Avenue
Sometime between 06/05/16 at 0800 hours and 06/10/16 at 0905 hours, an unknown subject(s) entered the fenced in yard and damaged the phone box.
16-32335 0800 hours Burglary (Delayed)/Vandalism 220 Savannah Lakes Drive (Community Pool)
Between 06/09/16 at 2230 hours and 06/10/16 at 0800 hours, unknown subject(s) entered the fenced in pool at Savannah Lakes. A flower pot containing a plant and a large amount of black soil was dumped in the pool resulting in the pool being unusable until a professional cleaning is completed. 19 lounge chairs and 8 regular chairs were also thrown in the pool. Estimated loss/damage is $500. The two surveillance cameras were reviewed and found to be inoperable.

Contact was made with W/F , who was passed out in her 2008 red Honda Civic in the Chili’s parking lot. She was suffering from overdose and was being treated by BBFR. She was revived and transported to the hospital for further medical treatment.
6-032265 2028hrs Fleeing and Eluding 3000 N. Seacrest Blvd
Officer Roedel conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy, four door, bearing FL tag DSE2X, for an infraction. The driver Randy Dowdell. Dowdell stated “my license is suspended” and provided the vehicle registration. As Officer Roedel returned to his police vehicle, Dowdell drove off, headed northbound on Seacrest Blvd. Officer Roedel followed behind Dowdell with emergency equipment activated for a short time as the suspect drove to 3140 E Atlantic Dr., where he pulled into the driveway of a family member and stopped. Dowdell was arrested without incident, cited, and TOT PBCJ.

Operation Staying Alive on Florida Roadways was conducted resulting in 40 citations and a DUI arrest.
